Matt did a great job delivering information. Nice to hear someone deliver clear information without emotion or brand influence.

Go on and say it.....the Pan Am is shit. Mine is, too.....getting rid of it when the warranty expires next November (2024). Already had engine work (@ 5,000 miles give or take), replaced ECM....still has mapping issues (will die when you go from 6,000-7,000 rpm and pull in the clutch to downshift from time to time). This started two weeks after i bought it last year (2022 which is also the year model) Gonna be getting the BMW GSA as well so I appreciate the review!

Same thing happened to me and the exact same bike. Love my Trophy. I loved my Pan Am at the time but she just let me down so many times. Blown motor, bad fuel pump, bad voltage regulator, bad suspension, limp mode constantly etc. Harley also did the right thing and took it back after 13 months of ownership and more than a dozen service visits with many many weeks under the knife. I’m planning on restarting and finishing my cross country trip that killed my HD mid way.

Excellent information by Matt. I have the GS version and absolutely love it. I’ve never seen it retrofitted with those big lights though 😮

Now that’s a PROPER review of ANY motorcycle not like ANYOnE else that’s a “paid” actor by any MoCo… Now onto the serious questions how did you wire the yellow lights up front? Did you use a Cansmart or whatever it’s called or something else? Also very very important what kind of saddle bags are these?? I k ow about the cheaper version of the top box😉 Thanks again and keep doing reviews like this one even if it’s a donkey!!! And yea I am a subscriber now… Thanks again. Cheers from balmy Arizona🫡🇺🇸🌵

Hey! This is Matt from the video and thanks for watching! You totally had it right; I used a Hex EZCan (identical product to the Denali Cansmart) wired directly to the lights. Made everything super easy to control and wire initially. The cases are from a company called Unit Garage in Italy. They have taken a beating and I have zero complaints, but you can get similar cases from Touratech or SW Motech for approximately the same cost without the high international shipping cost. If you hsve any more questions feel free to comment. We're glad you enjoyed the review and ride safe!

@@_matt_rogers_ yeah I checked em out it’s too much to ship although if you get the touring package on the GSA in Greece for example all three case come at €900!!! Whereas here in the States we have to pay at least $2500!!! And I’m talking about BMW cases(made by Touratech). Thanks for the insane build you showed us my friend many safe miles… I think BMW should sponsor you for a trip to Alaska no bs with that build of yours or like a world trip Alaska to Tierra del Fuego!!! Thanks again

My PAS has 30K with the only issue was the fuel pump started to wine and dealer changed. BMW are awesome, but so is the HD PAS

The PAS is a awesome bike, despite those having reliability issues. Hopefully Harley will continue working the bugs out. It's good to hear people are getting up there in mileage without issue. Thanks for watching. Hopefully, you've hit that Subscribe button. Tony will be doing a 15K review of his PAS soon!

Just a gear or gadget junky. Don't even have knobby off road tires. There are gas stations every where. Unless you're going off road deep into the country, there is no need for that 5 gal tank and overkill.

Thanks for watching. Matt likes to venture deep into North Eastern Canada relatively frequently, so the gas stops become fewer and farther in between.
