N00B Tube yes for sure. I’ve spent thousands on my beloved NightRod but that $100 bill was not justifiable. So had to come up with some different idea and so I made a video to help out my fellow NightRod’ers! Enjoy!

Hi Junaid, I have 2008 Vrod and I installed led lights and now the exact same issue with me…I was really down knowing that I might need to take it to dealer who will rip me off. Glad to see your video and pretty hopefully your vide will fix my problem. Which resistor should I buy can you plz share resister link? I have four leds (2 Front 2 back) does that mean that I need to install 4 resistors in total covering 4 aides front and back?

didnt work for me because i made my signals also day running lights. just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way around it? But great Video!

Should still work check the wires may be. Mine are also day running lights and signals both.

@@smartguy687 forgot to mention that my signals didnt have a separate wire for day running light so i had to make it myself with resistors and diodes maybe that's why it didn't work for me.

Hi Junaid, I also have 2013 Night Rob Special. Last week I changed the stock turn signal to led and now getting the same problem as yours. Where can I get those load resistor? Any specifications? I also noticed you have black luggage rack? Where did you get that? Thank you in advance.

Hi bro i just buy the same night rod 2013 the guy changed the front light and he put the ligne light on the back.On the dash the flasher are always On.What the u think about that if you can help on that

Why not get an led flasher relay? Wouldn't that be easier?

I don’t know anything about that. I worked on it as I had some load resistors sitting around and they worked so thought I’d share my experience.

Can you show how you installed them

Does this fix they red key light that comes on .

Yes it does. Also if you are getting just the key sign for nothing check your key fob battery.

@@acp2597 yes then put load resistors and you are good to go. There are guys who have done this same procedure on their sportsters and the light was gone.

how did you mount your rear turn signals?

Have this same set-up, however, when I turn on the blinker, either side, and press the brake, both my rear signals now blink the amber lights as hazards. When I let go of the brake, it goes back to normal.

chico garcia that’s weird, something to do with wiring. Or you might have an extra harness to do that like I have a special harness which makes the turn signals as brake lights too when I hit brake.

@@smartguy687 Yeah not too sure. Just know that I have everything hooked up as it should and the issue is only when I press the brakes. So if someone is behind me, they won't know which direction I wish to turn if I'm applying the brakes because blinkers will act as hazards. Can't find anything online close to the issue to figure out and solve.
