Welcome to my channel. This build is a 2009 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob. It is called "The Black Sheep"
All powder coat, paint, mechanic work, electrical and light fabrication was done in my shop by myself and my brother in Squamish BC Canada.

@@brodyrichard263 very easy man. You just need a snap ring remover to remove the ring off the bottom of the pin. It slides out and you just swap them and reinsert the pin and put the c clip back on 👍🏼

Nice build man!! I've done plenty of cars but never done a bike before. I have an 03 wide glide and i been dying to cut those rear struts off and want to make a rear fender that maybe has some kind of struts inside of it so you cant see them but still has some strength. After watching this im gonna get the grinder out very soon. Cheers for the inspiration brother. Respect!!

Hey Vincent thanks for the nice comment! The rear tire is a shinko 777 white wall 180 wide. Yes they have alot of size options. Check out JP cycles if your in the states.

Hey Andrew! Thanks for watching. What do you mean by change? You can fit a 130 front tire on the front end. The headlamp could be any size however it will not fit in the stock bezel. I just upgrade all the bikes to LED head lights

Awesome bike, turned out great. I've got the same pipes on my Rocker C and pretty sure the same or nearly the same bars. Been looking around and at videos for inspiration to build my first bike from an old Sportster 1200. What seat and which bars are those on there?

I love the bobber look and that’s exactly what I would do with a sporty. My street Bob tho, I think I’m gonna run it club style since it’s a little more suitable for longer rides. Still intend on bobbing out a sporty sometime in the future. Especially now that Harley retired the Evo sporty.

Thanks! Yes I did. We actually settled on a 200 rear tire but they back ordered it so in this video it only has a 180.

Looks great. By removing those brackets which held the stock rear fender & indicators on won't that reduce any strength to stick or bolt on a pillion seat?

Thanks Dan! The rear fender is thick steel and the bracket that mounts the rear fender to the frame has a very strong bolt process. It is approved to handle a seat if needed however the look of this bike was designed for a single rider

@@martinjamesdesigns3748 I have a 2009 FXDB with a stock rear which I've modified a little but after seeing yours I'm interested in going this path. Saddle bags might not work without the bracket but I can find a way around that. What do I type in Google to find a rear fender like this please?

@@danlonick800 yes it’s custom made to order from thunder bike customs in Germany. It comes raw metal with all the brackets and bolts and it’s fairly easy to install but does require some light bondo work and paint as it is bare metal. You can also order the custom seat to go with it which I recommend. I haven’t found another like it as far as quality goes but it is pricey. Let me know if you have any more questions. I did do a video on the install of it in one of my episodes

Hey Dylan! The fender is from thunder bike customs in Germany. They are custom made and come in raw steel so it’s a pretty big job to get it prepped and installed. I bought the seat and it has built in signals so it is a pretty slick fender but pricey. The front end is stock, I powder coated it all and the fork guards are from ACH customs in the UK. Dnaspecialty.com they are the mammoth spoke wheels The handle bars are from get lowered cycles and they are the 1 1/4” 10” chubby bars. I don’t have the link to that one but you can find it on their website!

Hey Easton! The front end is the stock Dyna set up and powder coated black and the slim fork covers are from ACH customs. They give it that straight smooth look. They are out of England but they shipped to Canada no problem.

Hey Aaron! Thanks for watching my channel! Man a suicide shift bobber would be epic! I like that idea. I’ve never looked into dropping a 103/07 into a sporty but I’d imagine it would be possible. Would probably be a better option to go to a Dyna at that point though. It’s custom made from a company called thunder bike customs in Germany. They sell them online. They come raw steel and you need to do the bodywork on the bare metal and paint yourself.

Curious question, why does it shake so much at the end? Is ut supposed to do that?

Hey Tony! Yes the Harley’s vibrate quite a lot. They have rubber motor mounts and it keeps the bike from being to ridged. It vibrates the most when it’s idiling

Thanks Cody! The seat came from thunderbike customs in Germany. Unfortunately it only works with the fender from thunderbike as well and it was not cheap! I have seen some similar style seats that fit with the original fender though. 🤙🏼

The swing arm is stock, the fender is custom built from thunder bike customs in Germany and the tires and rims are custom ordered from DNA specialty is California. The tire is a 180 wide with same stock rim dimensions. Side mount liscence plate is just off of Amazon. I have a full build series on this bike and I believe episode 5 or 6 is all about the rear end of the bike. 🤙🏼

@@coco-te1op my brother is ordering the 200 but they didn’t have stock last year when I built it. He still has the 180 on it. I actually forgot. The rim size is .5 bigger then stock

It's vids like this that make me on the fence about trading up my 2011 street bob (with the 110 tire shredder btw) for the new low rider st, especially since I would get next to nothing on it from the dealer.....smh

Yeah I like these years of the dynas. More customizable and unique from all the other newer bikes.

They are custom ordered from DNA Specialties. They are the mammoth 21” front and I believe the rear is a 17”
How much do those discs cost?
Stock triple tree?
