Thanks man, yeah 20k is steep, I hate to waste so much money on toys. lol The Honda Phantom might be the way to go, so much cheaper BUT Harley's do hold their value well if you take care of them. All of that chrome is awesome to look at.

My freind and I test rode a Dyna 1600 and a Street Glide with a 1600 H.O. Those bikes have pow!er for days! Third gear got me past 100! Not as quick as a sport bike but that low end power, mmm its what I like.

imo, on sport bike I don't like chrome but cruiser look awesome with it to me but that's my preference. Like they say to each his own. I do like black as well though.

I am glad to see you are versatile and open minded. I was gonna get a Fury but decided on a 2013 Harley V Rod. Recently got a 2012 CBR250r to go with my 2009 Honda Shadow. I like versatility too. 20k is a bit much though.

Why didn't you test drive it? First of all, it is so expensive because it is a CVO. So many upgrades and it is a great handling bike with a lot of power. Also, many CVO bike have very low miles because they are a piece of art and a collector's item. I have this bike and it will keep up with my son's gsxr. This bike rocks! You should have test drove it.

yeah that's steep but it's b/c of the CVO they say.

That salesman seemed pretty eager. haha Harleys are definitely nice bikes, and cruisers in general are cool in their own way. I could see myself getting one in the distant future. I'm still young, and if I got a Harley now, I'd definitely check out a sportster. That Fat Bob was pretty nice.

You did make one mistake.......Never look at the first ten bikes. Walk deep into their bikes on the lot. And as much as I love Harley They start judging you the moment your on deck. O ok cool, I am still deciding what I wanted to get, either the CBR250r or the Ninja 300 as my second bike as a good commuter bike, and to attack the Pig Trail on. The CBR250r from what I saw at the Heartland Honda dealer I went to, was a nice red, white, and blue bike, and gets 77mpg while the Ninja 300 is what I am really wanting to find out on the mpgs it gets compared to the CBR250r. I have always wanted to get "the best of both worlds" like you. :) I want to use a cruiser for long rides.

20K. Thats a bit much for a Fat Bob. Here in Texas you can find a '12 for about half that price. CycleCruza I see you more in a Wide Glide or a Blackline :)

I agree that's ridiculous, I would never pay that much for a used bike.

I rode a 2007 1200 Harley Sportster Custom. It was great in a straight line, pulled hard really loud but when the road curves the bike sucked. I have more fun on my Hyosung 250 than I did on that Harley. LOL

i like the V Rod Muscle, kinda looks like a sport bike... the fat bob is pretty cool except the intrument cluster is on the tank, when i sat on it i didnt really like that.

douglas jeffers it's called going above and beyond, because if you don't build quality in the bike, it becomes impersonal. What he missed is why worry about the price of the bike, that's the easy part, tell me what range you are looking at an let's take some out for a test drive... because if you don't like the bike itself, why would the price matter then? Just like trying on shoes haha
