I had a carbon tip on a TBR exhaust. Dunno why it never succumbed to immolation in offering to the gods of HP. Isn't carbon flammable?

Big fan of the TBR’s. In all honesty the tip on this particular exhaust did not look and feel like actual carbon fiber but I’m not sure what it’s advertised as real or not.

What in the world is going on with that torque line

Not the best pipe for that 131, I guess if you like sound it’s okay, however, the reason for the 131 is for HP and TQ. Definitely need a better exhaust to get maximum HP and TQ.

Not my first choice either but does look killer.

Very low numbers for a 131. Wouldn’t be worth the cost. Seen similar numbers on a 117 stage 2 cam. Also need to properly tune that bike. The graph showed too many fluctuations. Swap out the exhaust to a longer mid or full length 2into1 and tune it. Too bad the fast Johnnie doesn’t come stock with white wheels.

Would look dope with some white wheels. Keep in mind this is with a Harley Davidson Screamin’ Eagle tuner with a warranty. At a dealership we run all Harley stuff. A lot of other cool parts and tuning options out there that work great with the 131 if that’s what your into. 🤘

That's pretty goddamn pathetic for 131 CUBIC INCHES!

It was something like 135hp and 131 tq. That is a great number, and the way it is tuned and the cam profile makes the motor wonderfully unstrained. What more did you want? Only thing at a glance I didn't love was the dip in the middle of the curve, but this is common with 2-1 exhausts and very challenging to tune out. Great job to the builder and engineers of the kit- looks like a blast to ride.

@ShanHaq 30 years ago, I had a ZX11 Kawasaki that was making 160 hp and 110 ft/lbs. That was with a rejet of the stock carbs a drop in Muzzy cam and an ignition advancer. That was with 1052CC of displacement. So no, I am not impressed by those power numbers from ALL THAT DISPLACEMENT, and it's in a bike that weighs what, 900 lbs?

Very different experience. V twin engine archetecture are not the same as sport bikes. You can generate a lot of power without wringing out the throttle, making very accessible and usable power on the road. Result is a pleasant ride, perfect for cruising. I'm sure your sport bikes would kick the panties off of a bagger in terms of performance- but really the comparison is misguided.

@ShanHaq How is it misguided to compare two naturally aspirated engines? One has 131 CI, and the other is 62 CI. The massive disparity of displacement means the Kawasaki should've been wildly outclassed but it certainly wasn't. My ZX11 had stock pistons! Stock compression ratio. Stock heads. It was absolutely stock except for mild cams and minor bolt on performance parts. Yes it did have a full 4-1 Muzzy exhaust but your 131 also has a full aftermarket exhaust. Shit, both engines have 4 valve heads!

@@ericalger5003 it is misguided because performance of an engine isn't all hp. There are other factors. Duty life cycle for one. The 131 is wonderfully unstrained and will last a long time. Lastly, horsepower can be roughly thought of as torque × rpm, and so when you aren't revving a motor as high ghr horsepower isn't going to reflect higher values. Make no mistake the motor will still pull hard and be an enjoyable ride. This is why I quoted thr direct horsepower comparison as misguided. Either way- enjoy your bike I'm not trying to convince you of anything just stating my thoughts on why your comparison was not apt.
