I had mentioned that I was going to finally wrap my wife's 2001 Chevy Suburban. You may think the concept looks like a tiger, but really it matches something she is very passionate about. That is the Harlequin Rabbit. She breeds and shows her Harlequin Rabbits, and is one of the better at it in the United States (some would say the world). She has the 2019 national ARBA convention coming up in a few weeks and wanted to make a splash there. We are going to wrap her Suburban to represent a Japanese Harlequin, which is orange and black with alternating bands. The video shows the finished product, and it is pretty interesting.

Thank you. She went to a show on Saturday and said she had a lot of good comments from people that saw it online and couldn't wait to see it in person. We know that the pictures have been seen in Europe, Canada, the U.S., etc. It's been popular in the rabbit circles.

Yeah, the price can get out of hand pretty quickly. The material isn't terribly expensive, and there are cheaper brands out there. The labor is always what spends quickly. You just can't get around the labor. I'm sure a pro would do it faster and better, but it may cost the same as I'm not an expensive installer. On the mustang stuff, it seems to be getting really popular or more than it has been. I've tried to vary my content a bit, and really what I show is all that I get into. Shows, wraps, etc. There's almost nothing you can do to a Fox that hasn't been done before. I refuse to make videos just to make videos. If it's not covering an event, or building something of value to me, I won't do it. I have new things in mind, but haven't gotten to that point. It will be something new, so we'll see what it does. It's time to up the ante again and do something no one has built and documented so far.

I Also Thought About Wrap. Maybe. I don't know. Looks Good. But I'm still Old School. Later Man. I Still Like Paint.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both wrap and paint. I don't have easy access to a full-size paint booth to repaint a car, but I can do wrap in my home garage. I'd say if you wanted to experiment with wrap, get something on clearance and pick a simple panel to wrap. A hood, a trunk, etc. Make it easy and pretty cheap to try and see if you like it or not.
