Absolutely beautiful ! Highwood. Thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous!!
Just as a bit of a Southern Hemisphere reflection on Easter imagery hereabouts (autumn, rather than spring), some words to share with R.R.Terry's fabulous music, and such a beautiful rendering. Jesus our Sun is risen with the morning Here in our midst, this first day of all days; Gathered, the Light of Christ upon us dawning, We who were scattered sing our Shepherd’s praise. Death is defeated! Yet we, disbelieving, Dare not take hold of life fully restored. Christ seeks us out and, peace upon us breathing, Makes real the presence of the Risen Lord. Met on a road, discovered by the water, Unrecognised, Christ calls each one by name; All the baptised - each sainted son and daughter - Know from this moment you are not the same! In wine and bread, in sacred reconnection, We are renewed, aflame yet not consumed. Sent out as sparks in autumn’s rich inflection, To liberate those who are yet entombed. Nature is crowned with signs of celebration, Crimson and gold descend from boughs held high. New is the song of a redeemed Creation, Song of a love and hope that will not die.
Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. Worshipful and I hope an ongoing blessing as part of your nuptials.
Beautiful tune - I was actually first introduced to it to the text “O perfect love,” which would be perfect for a wedding!
Wonderful! This is the model I'm using to re-introduce this tune to our congregation (a pre-Sunday preview). We're using different words again, so it suits to hear it without a vocal line. But the artistry in the arrangement and the rendering is exceptional. What a wedding gift! Thanks for sharing it with us all.
Love it!
Sublime playing. Wow.
A beautiful Advent hymn beautifully played - thank you.
Beautiful.
