Local hospitality at the home of a local family is something a very unique experience as if someone open their home for some stranger from other countries and then treat you as their own family. Wow.

I hope you guys are coming back for Hari Raya this year! It’s so heartwarming to see you guys celebrating it with the locals.
Fantastic that you enjoyed the Raya celebrations. Open houses are a common thing here in Malaysia and hope that youbwould be able to go to other open houses too. If you happen to be in Malaysia next year the first Raya is when the PM and the King have their respective open houses. Try them out.
Finally you meet Diana family to celebrate Hari Raya again... 😄😄😄 l am so happy watch both of you during our festival😍😍😍 See you again next Ramadhan and Hari Raya 2019😁😁😁🙋🙋🙋🙋
Thank you for coming.. Hope see you next time and we Malaysian wish you gudluck for next video.. 😍
I feel very happy while watching this video...Tasty food and friendly family members....Diana I guess a lot of fans including myself envy you to have both of our gals as your open house guest.....Next year chinese new year if you gals still here in Malaysia I would love to serve you gals as my guest as how Diana treated you....

Extremely friendly!
just stay in Malaysia as your second home ..and be our next 'Mat Dan' ..yeahhh!!
I think this is your best Malaysian video so far, conveying the warmth and friendliness of a typical Malaysian open house raya celebration. 👏🙌👍 The first day raya is usually for close family members. The second day onward (for up to a month) is for relatives and friends - or everyone really since by tradition you can't refuse anyone who visits you during the raya month, thus the term open house. By the way, both of you look so so gorgeous 👌in those baju kurung I suggest you shop for a few more and make them part of your permanent wardrobe wherever you are.
Mate wouldnt be surprised if you guys get invited to any local tv show anytime soon. Good job!
Another enjoyable video guys!!! Listen you may be 'poor' in money but you're sure RICH with love and heart and sometimes that's all you need. Must be lonely for you ladies to be away from your family for so long and having friends such as those beautiful folks surely helps I hope. Enjoy every moment guys!! Time is fleeting and make as much wonderful memories as you can....we'll all be here for you on your journey!!! Selamat Hari Raya!!!! Til the next one.....Cheers for freedom....!!

I've always been late to your early squad party even though I already subscribed. Therefore, I've turned on the notification to make it on time before the party ended😂😘
Good to see this video...big thumbs up...selamat hari raya...
Selamat hari raya ladies..
Btw open house is relatively new culture i think. As we Malaysians are diverse, have many celebrations like Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Raya and sometimes they are very near to each other (cuz using diff calendars) , we have sort of mixed celebrations like GongXiRaya, DeepaRaya etc. And now open houses are here, not only for own family but all ppl regardless of their ethnicity. Beauty of Msia :)
omg can't wait for your Ipoh episode.. 😆
Wow..i love to see this moment..look sooo happy there..so nice.. 😊
Woowww...absolutely amazing
love you guys so much. come back to Malaysia anytime OK. love & more love from Malaysia. mmmuaah..
Wow very good for you !!!!😘😘😘 i hope you're girls always happy 😁😁
Great job. Very culturally sensitive and respectful. ❤️👍
happy hari raya to 2 beautiful ladies..
The duit raya tradition is actually adapted from the chinese tradition of giving "angpaos" during chinese new year, for the malays, the duit raya is usually given to people whom have not started working... but sometimes it is also given to parents by working children, or from employers to employees...
@BeerForBreakfast
6 жыл бұрын
We don’t qualify for any of those circumstances haha. We noticed that the traditional is very similar to Chinese New Year. Who receives money during this period of time?
@shamsulanuaraliash8475
6 жыл бұрын
actually duit raya is consider also as a charity (in Islam, this act is mostly welcome as part of kindness and compassion). Anyone can get it regardless of age, gender, race or status. It depends on the person who wants to give it.
@gingerteddy618
6 жыл бұрын
ilman96 I am afraid you have given wrong info. Giving duit raya is the charity tradition among Muslims in Malaysia. It is only the use of colourful envelope adapted from Chinese red envelope tradition. In Islam there is no restriction to use any colour for envelope. Therefore duit raya envelope are not restricted to one colour only. Please correct me if I am wrong.
@ilman96
6 жыл бұрын
yeah i might be wrong, it might have not been adapted exclusively from the chinese tradition but might also had an influence from how the prophet used to give zakah on raya day. However the act of giving duit raya itself is not an Islamic practice but rather a part of the malay tradition. You wouldn't expect a muslim arab to give you money on raya day unless you are one of the people that are eligible to receive zakah but even so that would be considerd as zakah and not duit raya and that would only occur on the first day of raya only whilst duit raya is given for the whole period where by malays celebrate raya which in malaysia would be roughly a month. Regarding who could get the duit raya... well actually anyone can give it to anyone... but usually... the tradition is as ive stated...
@khairul_kyo740
6 жыл бұрын
Its just a giving time. Its time to celebrate and sharing. Its not compulsory to give duit raya and its not restricted to some age only. Every muslim that celebrate raya can get and join the celebration by other muslim,by sharing their food & sustenance. Non muslim are also welcome to celebrate. Duit raya only a trademark for malay raya, the meaning of giving its far more important.Not necessary to give money if you cant afford. Regardless the rich or the poor, they will share just to celebrate the raya.
love to see how Malaysian ppl treat u :)
So beautiful both of you😍😍 Those baju kurung suit for you guys👍👍
