The number of times she said i m not conventional in the first 5 minutes turned me off. Although i take her as an honest performer, the whole dialogue on being unconventional is just stretched out. A truly unconventional person is like ahmed ali akbar. He performed side roles in even hareem's movies, never said pseudo idealistic stuff about career n all in interviews or other places and then out shined without pushing it in your face. Also btw mahira, humayun n fawad are stars no doubt about it. They are not unconventional by any means. They started with the same commercial projects n grew 1) because they were more educated n came from educated families n that for sure works in your favour 2) were conventionally beautiful 3) and of course to some extent had the right resources at disposal too. May be not humayun cuz he has a journey spread over 3 decades so he has definitely carved his way up but for sure he started with the same commercial art. The true examples of unconventional may be Sanam Baloch, Yumna Zaidi, sarmad sultan, sania saeed, sanam saeed, amina shiekh

Well,Hareem is unconventional in terms of weight and body type. We don't usually see woman like her body type her on screen but inreality they do exist. Working with such body type is unconventional too and inspiration for so many girls out there also she went out of the box with her character in Diyaredil, Parchi, Sanam (not to forget she was the first one who did the role of bipolar woman in it) and now 22 Qadam. Plus she was also Pakistan Youngest female producer!

In mahira’s case especially, good looks, style and backing from the top channel helped her a lot.Atleast Humayun and Fawad played some unconventional roles.But I don’t like how Fawad has been ignoring Pakistani tv since he worked in Bollywood.His best work and performances were in Urdu dramas and he could have greatly improved his craft and acting skills if he continued working in them.

After watching 2 episodes of 22 Qadam, one can say for sure that she has worked hard and flawlessly in it.

I personally find her to be one of the most gorgeous actress in pak industry. She has a lot of potential and correct thought process to change conventional things. Loved her work in Diyar-e-dil, She did a great job and stood strong against many veteran actors to contribute for the project.

I have always loved her performances and it’s sad and deplorable how very selective she’s gotten because she doesn’t want to be playing the same old doormat roti dhoti bechari. Just hope people stop body shaming her, no one should be forced to confirm to the slim and tiny cookie cutter look we usually see onscreen. Variety is the spice of life! Also, we’re in 2022, people! Everyone should wisen up!

Finally after so many interviews, one worth watching! I love her. She's tall with a generous build. I like such girls. Even with weight on, she looks gorgeous. People shouldn't troll her for her weight. If someone can look equally good with weight on then why not. Same goes for Zara Noor Abbas, Areeba Habib and Durrefishan.

Shenaz Shiekh was not skinny at all but Like a girl next door . She was very popular . People still remember her drama because she was so natural . Now girls are more on their faces and bodies than their acting . Lots of botox and lip fillers so no face expressions .

Her thinking is so progressive and she's such a lovely person! I hope all her dreams come true. Her respectful behaviour and correct mindset will take her places Insha'Allah! What I loved about her is that she let Aamna complete all her questions before answering unlike other guests

22 qadam sounds like chak de india... though it is a cricket show and that was about hockey. And i think wahaj will be playing on the lines of kabir khan from chak de in 22 qadam....

We have seen Naseem Zehra of DNUTN who wanted to play cricket and her father never supported her but the story was not about that whereas it was an interesting part of the drama. But if dramas are made with a central plot based on women cricket, it would be an interesting watch.

Good interview, I liked most of Amna’s questions but I think the question about her weight was unnecessary. Also there was an issue was Hareem’s mic (watching on tv).
