Hare Krishna Temple serving 100's of Free Meals Daily (Prasadam) ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor Watford

It really is a great honour & privilage to be shown around some special sacred spaces within ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor in Watford.
It really is a great honour to finally get to visit the ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor in Watford and an even greater honour to be allowed into the kitchen where the delicious & nutritious Prasadam (Prashad) Blessed food is prepared daily.
The Hari Krishna devotees serve up (free meals) to anyone and everyone at their temples and events and it's known as Prasadam (Prashad) which is santified (blessed) food.
The seva & devotion reminds me of Punjabi Sikhs who do very much the same type of service at their temples who serve up Langar (free meals).
On the menu on the day of my visit was:
* Chana Aloo Curry
* Matar Paneer
* Dal
* Basmati Rice
* Mix Veg Dry Curry
* Chapati
* Puri
* Far Far
The Hare Krishna devotees lovingly prepare food that is blessed by hand and human touch and further energised and charged by positive thoughts.
Radha Mohan Das kindly tells us that no meat, no fish, no eggs, garlic or onion not even mushrooms are not used in any of the cooking in this Sattvik kitchen.
Everything is cooked with loving devotion (Seva or Bhakti) to the Lord.

All thru Covid in India several ISKCON branches provided one free meal per day - delivered home! Just a basic form to fill online, and the next day onward hot food at doorstep! I benefited from that so I have to say keep this good deed going! Just awesome! Hari hari bol!

Yes, it is divine, food prepared, cooked and served with pure devotion.
brings back memories when we were in Bhaktivedanta manor when Prabhupad gave early morning satsang and later used to seat when outsiders would question Prabhupad and answers given. The cold days when they ran out of oil for central heating and the joyous devotees in Arti and their duties .sunday used to be the most interesting with excellent Prasad at lunch. Going out with devotees to enrol lifemembers and sitting round the pond meditating was a bonus,thanks ,brings lots of good memories

The guy who was handling cooking the rotis is such a novice but the lady rolling out is a pro and so fast. It reminded me of myself as a kid when mom would be rolling out rotis super fast and I couldn’t keep up with cooking them. She would send me away to play and do both on her own with more speed 😂😂
