​@@Janno132yeah then just shook it pretending to apply downwards pressure,,, anyways it's not that much air needed to lock it but no matter how much air you put in it it will never fully lock out it will lock the valve but you can still compress the air more in the positive chamber by applying more weight,. anyways rear shocks should have a mechanical lock out im so heavy that lock out on mine with normal amount of air pressure it's like firm position on a better shock with a bit more air... The suntour fork on the video is far from the worst but it's also slightly below entry level rockshox which is slightly below entry level fox but comes on many mountain bikes that are sold as entry to mid level bikes merida e140 has it just with slightly more travel its also on the stoic..i have a worse suntour than this the bike came with warning that both wheels most always stay planted on the ground 😂 but many want notice it cube had put it on so it looked like a little sticker and when you noticing the tiny ugly sticker and peels it of its a whole flyer or booklet unfolding.. anyways the fork needs air but if your bike has a suntour fork it's not gonna feel so nice but they are sturdy you can do crazy shit without destroying it but I would change it to a RS 35 that's like seven level's better..sad parts are expensive car rims good racing one's are cheaper than bicycle rims

I used Sr Suntour Raidon 34 130mm for about about 2000kms with one big service. My only complaint about the fork was no low speed compression adjustment and I managed to lose the compression / lockout dial cap which I had to buy for 10€. For trail dc use it was performing amazingly for what it is.

Stick a Shockwiz on it and tune it the 21st century way. Manually guessing pressures/sag/rebound and how many tokens to add to move from linear to progressive rate is so old fashioned!

the real way to test a suspension is with speed or braking downhill it will test how much the suspesion moves and jitters my bike has a moderate suspension as it can handle bumps,but does not go down during braking.a good one feels solid and doesnt move around while the bike is braking or crawling to a stop

It's the xcr air, I got a new one with black stanchions from warranty and it's not the worst. However it feels kinda nasty brand new and I had to disassemble it to put some foam rings in and it's decent for sub $250

Those professional mtb riders would all use suntour suspensions if they were good, go get a rockshox pike, fox float or fox performance, marzorcchi z1 or z2, or dvo/ohlins, these brands make the real good suspensions
