It does exist BUT It is highly offensive and punishable by law in the west and in canada, if you are reported for body shaming or any such form of offense, you will definitely be punished. While in Pakistan nobody even gets punished for raping children or harassing women, let alone the mere body shaming.

DAMN. I could relate to the March thing. It’s been ages since I did my high school. I screwed up my Math exam in class 12th. I loved the subject, but failed to get a 90+ which I could easily do. Reason was the pressure for prepping up for IIT-JEE and not focusing on school math. Sometimes I dream at night, that I still have to do a lot of syllabus of class 12th Math to do for the first time and tomorrow is my 12th board exam. Then I dream of how bad the paper went. When I wake up, that strange feeling of screwing up my exam still lingers on for a while. Even after I realise that I have gone too far ahead in my career and that paper never defined my career path.

Women’s frustration and caution against desi men is valid. For a long time this notion remained ingrained in my mind and had very negatively impacted me as a growing young man (then aged 15/16) and went to the depths of self-hate. My mental health had taken a heavy toll on this. To overcome this, however, I developed a rejectionist attitude against this unfortunate reality. Again, a woman’s emotions are valid. But they are HER emotions and feelings. Not mine. I really don’t care if there are pakistani women or women in general who’d feel uneasy around me or not sit next to me. If I haven’t done anything wrong, then I will not allow the guilt to overcome my sanity. Saying this in case there are any men out there who take it personally when hearing women’s coping mechanism against harassment. It is a good thing a sense of guilt to be felt when hearing such stories, but better to remain intact than dive into a pit of self-hate, self-talk, negativity, depression, anxiety and corresponding behaviors.

My own brother advised me to „just avoid desis (guys),“ experience long trips alone, and avoid ‚your comfort zone’ when I was leaving Pakistan for the first time. It’s definitely easier to live in Europe (not sure about other western countries) for young women especially from Pakistan. And I advise/help my female friends and friend of friends to get out of Pakistan especially in late teens and 20s. And would give the same advice my brother gave me.

idk if this will work for your kid or not, don't think of me as some random totkay wali, I am sharing from our own experience. My brother had similar skin issue and when he would itch, he would rip off his skin and bleed. We consulted every doc in Isl and Khi but none worked. One doc however suggested to mix mustard oil and petrloeum jelly and massange him regularly, and allhumdillah he has turned 24 now and he just uses vaseline now as his condition is cured and is just normal dryness now.
