Hardrock Gold Mine Test Results and Millsite Bulk Sampling

@MineOperator ConMan and Harry run a 3,100 lb bulk sample from a desert gold mine and a 67.5 lb sample from the I-5. The I-5 sample came from a vein Jason and Harry prospected, seen here • Desert Gold Mine Test ... .
With the Jawcrusher back up and running, the team wastes no time. The team also ran a ~500lb test from a mine dump not shown in this video.
Stay to the end, as there is microscope footage of the ore and scratch test.

That messed me up when that rock appeared to jump out of the jaw crusher and right into your hand. 😮It wasn't until I looked down in there and saw there were no shards of rocks still in there, and the rock was the same size as it was when you dropped it in at first😂😅You got me🤣

would be a interesting project to have a look in to automating or improving some parts of that system you have, just one thing i noticed is that your hoppers might benefit from a air hammer mounted on the side to help move the materials down to the bottom instead of using the rake, and some more small augers for the collecting of the different fractions from your shaker tables would let you collect them more or even move them over to a separate system for even better separation of concentrates ready for melting. I am a process engineer that tends to fiddle around with designing automation systems for things like this.

Really great work guys 🎉 Did you know that crushed and washed quartz makes the hardest Cement? Your tailings running quartz are worth selling or using yourselves. In fact, you could use the material to make gold ore polished countertops too😮 Heck of a way to get rid of tailings 😂🤣😅 An infrared temperature gun is really cheap and a better gauge for those bearings. Put the normal Temps for the machine on the caps in paint. If it starts to rise, giv'er grease and make sure your equipment especially has a purge hole for the grease so it flushes out silica contamination 😉

It's looking real good guys, good to see you up and running 👍🙂 I have some ore, that I would like to get tested with the FXR. I got it from a friend of mine in California. It is from Don, at the Red Wing mine. He sent it to me for testing and analysis to what I would get out of it. The quarts is encapsulated in this black matter, it seems to be a carbon substance. After putting it through my crusher and panning it out. There is a black oily scum that rides on top of water. I have saved two hand size chunks. Could I send them to you to get a reading ?

Hey guys love your hard rock ore processing operation. I am a hobby gold miner in the process of reopening a old hard rock gold mine just north of Victorville. As I am sure most hard rock miners do I fabricate/modify alot of my equipment in my modest metal fab shop. I have built my own shaker table based largely on the MBMM design but I am looking at changing up the table suspension and I like the simplicity of the suspension on your table. I am also interested in what the table drive mechanism is, does it impart any other motion other than the rocking back and forth? I was wondering if there was a way I could come up and look at your table so I could see what your groove profile is, table slope and the many more variables. As always you are welcome to stop by my place.

We're working on that. We're screening to -1/16" and the screen has to be constantly cleared. The Stutenroth mill doesn't have a fine screen inside so we screen after the mill but before the table. I'm working on hydrocyclone designs that will feed either -30 mesh or -50 mesh to the table via the overflow and send the underflow back into the mill for regrind. I'd prefer -50 mesh so that's what I'm aiming for.

We're working on it 👍. I have the MSHA's guide to Equipment Guarding manual. We've been going through our system and adding guards. Not done yet. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks! I’m almost as charming as Dan Hurd if you ever need a hand. I’d be more than willing to work for free for a week.

Wow, Frank! Your support is greatly appreciated and will be put towards a project we are currently working on. I am contacting our team to notify them personally of your contribution and interest in helping us out in the field. We could use another set of hands out here. Please email me at info@mineoperator.com.
