Its true. Literally It was a bumby road of emotional relationship, Hardin was fighting against his demons and poor Tessa had to suffer all of that. But the book ending was so satisfying and i can't wait to see the last part of the movie!!

I know it may sound surprising, but I am fascinated by Hardin Scott. He has something special that makes him so unique, so sensitive. Anna Todd has made him one of the most popular characters among the public. I believe that in all of us, there is a dark side just like Hardin. Congratulations Anna Todd, you have managed to move us.

I honestly love him so much!! Growing up in a family where his dad was nothing but drunk, seeing his mom assaulted and then the peer pressure...he had to go through so much. No one really understood him but then he met Tessa who was able understand him, be there for him. The fourth book deserved it beautifully of how he felt and the book Before shows how although he didn't want to continue the bet, he did, how he felt in love with her. He surely messed up a lot, but I would love to have a man like Hardin tbh. My precious baby 💓🥺

We’re all broken, we all make mistakes, we all do things we regret; Harden is one of those people, he fell in love with a girl who was far too good for him, yet she fell in love with him. Grant it, he did hurt her countless times starting with a bet to take her virginity and then acting like he loved her, but he just fell way into the bet that he couldn’t pull himself out once he fell in love with her. He’s not a bad person, he just made bad decisions.

I think he actually CHOSE to hurt her at the start by agreeing to the bet, he planned the whole thing and acted every time he saw her just so he could take her virginity. He fell in love during it but he was too deep into the bet to stop. I recommend reading the book as it explains everything in SO much more detail and you have a much bigger understanding of the characters.

There's no doubt that there was an enormous amount of chemistry between harden and Tess. Even during their fights you could always tell that they both truly loved one another. Though I feel like they definitely both had mutual love for each other, I feel like harden was almost relilying on tessa for happiness. After being traumatized as a child and having issues with his dad, it was obvious he had severe depression and when it would get bad he would lash out on tessa. See she was the reason he was happy not himself. And I feel as if they should've showed more of hardin getting his life together and while still loving tessa, not needing her to have any sort of happiness. You shouldn't need someone to feel loved. Before you want to love someone does you must love yourself first. And I think that's a huge misconception in the movie and in reality. People think that she they find a significant other all of their sadness will just go away. And yes in some cases that may happen but that's not a healthy way to get over a depressive state.

When did he go to therapy I AWC? I know he went to therapy as a kid because of his dad and drinking and what he saw happen to his mom, but I honestly dont remember him going to therapy in AWC. I'm pretty sure he also went to therapy later in AEH I think because of his nightmares

in the books he was toxic because of how traumatised he was from his upbringing and it led him to be the way he was, that’s why in the 4th book he finally accepted therapy to be a better person for tessa 🖤

This editing is amazing. I like how it tells his story. I find his background a little more interesting than Tessa's, like He has way more character development, then she does. I just finished the novel series and ultimately he is the main character, he just is, same as in Fifty Shades Of Grey, both Christian and Hardin drive the story , Ana and Tessa not saying they are plot devices but compared to those two fall short

I love the book and love the film I think the book is slightly better though because it shows the true depths of the real damaged and dangerous Hardin Scott or also known as Harry. I read the book too, and I cried once i was done with the second for half a day😂😂😂. I never knew a book could just elicit soo much emotions from me ti ll i read it, ones that i never knew existed😍😍😣 beginning on the forth one rn but idk if i can go through. I feel soo much overwhelmed.

I’m reading the books and I’m on Book 3. This is “MY OPINION”, the story of the love affair between Hardin (Harry) and Tessa is so toxic. As I read the books, the story line is always the same. Fight, make up, lie, keep things from each other. Harry letting people around him screwing with his mind even though “how many times” Tessa assures him about her love and asking him to control his anger issues. I’m NOT a writer BUT AS A READER, IFEEL DRAINED as if I am Tessa because of this fighting back and forth. I get that the writer needs to explained the reasons why Hardin (Harry) is the way he is. I read ALL the books because I am curious on what happened to Hardin and Tessa BUT I AM emotionally and physically drained after reading them. I thought Harry would moved passed his issues and be a better man for Tessa BUT he “always” go back to his old ways. Instead of owning and taking responsibility and better himself, he needs to blame others (like his father and later on his mother and biological father) on what’s happening in his life. You might say, “If you feel that way, you should stop reading hit.” AGAIN, I am curios and wanted a happy ending to both of them. In reality, Hardin’s story is experienced and happened to some people. I DO NOT KNOW how it felt, especially the anger deep inside... BUT I KNOW that “IF” and “WHEN” a person CHOOSES to change, he can change. It should be YOUR CHOICE and DECISION to change in spite of ALL the baggage and personal demons that you may have, especially if you have people that supports you.

i love the book and movie although the fighting in the book annoys me like it makes me want to pull my hair out everytime they get into like separations and i’m just like was this fight needed but i get tired of how they treat one another although hardin has done a lot worse but tessa has done some things that aren’t good either at times in their relationship so it’s like they both are bad for each other but they can’t stay away i believe but people push it down because in reality no one would get back with someone who made a bet on them but i do love hessa but that was fucked up tbh i hate that part the most i believe that hardin was actually sorry tho
