What game are you thinking of getting next?

I love this game. I have spent around 1000 hours playing this game already and was SUPER excited to see a new review. For the new guys coming in, hope you all take a chance on this game too. Super unique and has a lot of skill expression. The game feels amazing when you get some wins in.... gl every1!

@@randombot1422 While there is no denying there will always be a meta (and im sure a new one will evolve from multi soon) but that does not make off meta builds bad. There is nearly always a win condition if you can find it.... anyway check my content to see what other players consider a "terrible" class have his way in the dungeon

@menxreportedname there's always "exceptions" or "chance" but either you catch them off guard or you use range to kite them that's the name of the game

@menxreportedname multi classing is bad because that's the point of having all these classes if a fighter can turn into a rogue or the other way around? Class identity out the window huh?

@@randombot1422 I dont agree with multiclassing either. It is a test and wether it remains in the game is based on player feedback. So, go give some feedback. That is the harsh reality of a game in a testing phase: sometimes the test is what you want and sometimes it is not. Im sure you recall the drastic balancing changes before and during wipe 2. By the end of it the game was quite balanced in MOST people's opinion. They went crazy, but they got the data and have moved onto another test, and have said its a test repeatedly.

The thing that made this game great was class identity. Now any class can have any skill/perk or weapon. Class identity is officially gone. This game is just a meme now.

@@easilydistractedgames I've faith in the dev. They generaly listen to the community, even if sometime it thake them a bit of time. They said multiple time that they wanna try this multiclass system, which is a bit random to get the perk + unbalanced at the moment (hello slayer perk + sprint into other class to say the least). More importantly they say, and i quote from the dev itself: "As we’ve noted multiple times, we are looking at this multiclass test as a true experiment for this season. Please note that there is a very good chance that the multiclass system will substantially evolve for the next season or may even be removed based on the response from the community"

it truly has the potential to be one of the greatest games of all time!

Well the issue with this game is how wildly it fluctuates in value of playing. some days it feels amaxzing and then the devs experiment with it and it feels literally completely different like with the most recent update, Multiclassing. It gets exhausting but even its lowest of lowes, its super fun. I can easily see this game being contender for Game of the year at a 1.0 release and with a healthy enough community (which is its biggest problem rn). @@easilydistractedgames

This game is like from my childhood dreams. I have always wanted a game like this. And now we have it, Ironmace devs are one of the best dev teams out there, they have the passion and will to make this game good. There is no greed. But there are rough times where shit happens, but they make mistakes, like we all do, we are humans after all. God bless IM and yall

Dark and Darker is fun as hell, but it's in a bit of a rough spot right now while they experiment with multiclassing. They updated the system so it doesn't take as long to max out your learning tokens, and you can reset them daily for 500 gold. That being said, there are some utterly broken builds out there.

Yeah my one friend is a barbarian that does backflips! People seem to be very on the fence about it, so hopefully the devs don't annoy all of their hardcore playerbase.

fun game, shame the devs are so incompetent that this will be dead within a year

Dark and darker is in a terrible state atm the game will die if they dont balance it

@@easilydistractedgames it still blows my mind that you can interact with other players inventory and use your own stuff from your inventory and spells while in the waiting room. Whoever came up with that design should be fired.

You must be dumb. It’s fine right now, they’re a small dev team in an experimental stage with their game. A HUGE game breaking bug happened last night and it was patched overnight, and everyone was given ALL of their gear back, got to keep all of their levels they earned before the roll back, got gifted 3 blue currency as a compensation for the BS that happened. Your take on the game is shit, learn to have fun and be creative the devs are making a game THEY want, not catering to players who whine about change.

@@patrickmanhattan6518 last night was even worse, they had to patch out a bug that let rogues steal your inventory in the lobby. So the hours I spent last night farming gold and completing quests were rolled back because theyre so shit at making their game
