I fell in love with Jim years ago, every single movie he did was so good, so interesting, such quality. I loved " Frequency" and " The Count of Monte Cristo", but when I heard his interview that was aired before the release of " The Passion" where he said he was warned if he took the role that it would ruin his career, and he said it was his privilege to portray the Lord, I knew God wasn't done with him. He is showing what a true man of God is. It sure hasn't ruined his career either!

Can't get thru 3 seconds of it without the tears flowin. And what all he went thru up on the edge of that cliff so sick, shoulder out of place, hypothermia setting it. The cast doc saying he couldn't go on much longer, but Mel leaving it up to Jim....(Mel let him make the call). Which wasn't done until after a prayerful time while still hanging there Jim said. I think that came thru to US in the film; to help us to grasp the human side, human suffering our Lord went thru all to save OUR sorry hides. Know what I mean

Followers of Christ don't become suicide bombers. Instead, they may sacrifice their lives to save others (like Jesus did on the cross), or they may be martyred because they refuse to deny Christ is Lord. May this film remind believers that persecution is often the price that comes with faith, but it's worth it to gain Christ and heaven. If you seek to save your life, you will lose it. If you give up your life for the Gospel, you will receive it back again.

The Constitution gives us the right, BUT the US Supreme court agreed with the state against the churches. It's ok to go to the store but not to church. The US Supreme Court will answer to THE JUDGE of judges for their sin. JESUS IS LORD

I didn’t see the Libyan Christian men pushing back. They walked with honor, courage and sacrifice to their deaths, just like Jesus.

@Emeril Lugosi Hebrews 10: 25 Do not forsake the gathering/meeting with the Brethren/other Believers. Ecclesiastes 4:12. A cord of three stands in not easily broken. Exodus 20:8-11. Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy. We as Believers need corporate worship as well as private, it helps keep us strong in the faith. Be blessed.

@Emeril Lugosi I understand where you are coming from but not everyone is grounded and strong in faith. There are those who need to be in a church setting, to be around other believers, who have no family and become adopted into a church family. Some churches have strong home networks but not every city/town does. Some who are new in the faith also need encouragement from being around other believers. There are churches that provide outreaches and minister to the poor, the homeless etc. There are 2 sides to a coin. I do believe however that eventually church buildings will be a thing of the past. But for right now the TRUE churches are vital to the nation's survival

My favorite actor is Jim Caviezel! Everything he has ever done is beautiful! I have watched all of his shows, speeches and movies. A man of true conviction. He also does a great imitation of Ronald Reagan.

So coincidental, I think I got born again in my heart, and didn't even know it than, when watching Ben Hurr, I cried my heart out at what they did to Jesus.😢 Thank God I'm saved by the Sacrificial Lamb and Lion of Judah💝🙏🙌

Jesus gave his life so that we could have eternal life with him, yet most won't live for him or take a stand when it would be the first time some will ever see a Christian who is not ashamed of their salvation. Remember that Jesus said that if you are ashamed of me before men, I will be ashamed of you before my Father. The issue is pride. It began with Satan. He wanted what belongs to God, glory and honor. He was a thief. Then Adam stole fruit from a tree that God had forbidden. Men today don't want to believe God is real because they reserve that place for themselves. I pray death would come to me before I would turn my back on such love. Jesus didn't come to provide us with a beautiful life with no problems. His purpose was to redeem mankind by paying our sin debt so that we could be reconciled to God. God "gave" his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. What a gift!! Like anyother gift, it must be received. Hell will be full of those who looked for another way than through the blood of Jesus.

@K05 T4R It is obvious that you know a little about the bible, but only enough to satisfy your lack of understanding. God created what was not only necessary but what was adequate for man to flourish. At the time, the literal beginning, mans desires were quite a bit more innocent than they were generations later when in Leviticus 18:6-9 God gave specific instructions on sexual behavior. Sex was considered to be the same as marriage. Not only did all mankind come from Adam and Eve, after the flood that Noah was saved from, all mankind came from his family. It is amazing how fast men embrace sin. The pleasure gained is short lived. Today, we want everything to be unjudged, no criticism, no laws, and most of all, no consequence. What used to be something that was talked about in private is now commonplace. The TV is filled with trash. The Oscar's have recently been put under the burden of including homosexuality, transgender, and same sex marriage if the movie that you make is to be considered for the prize. Depravity is mans nature. It is not Gods. God is holy and in him is no sin at all. He is honest, consideerate, passsionate, just, loving, trust worthy, faithful to his word, and compassionate just to get started with his attributes. That is his nature and it is what heaven is like. It would not make sense for heaven to be like here. God created man for his own good pleasure. Man disobeyed and fell away from what God had prepared for him. Most of all, he fell away from the one who loves him not sensing the seriousness of his action. So what did God do to display his love in action? He willingly gave his only Son to pay the debt that sin brought Adam. Adam in his body still died but the life God breathed into him never did. There must have been one extremely important conversation that they had that must have humbled Adam. It caused him to repent. If that ere not true, God would not have slain an innocent animal to cover their nakedness. The death of that animal was a picture of Christ and the death that he would face. There are many pictures throughout the Bible pointing men to Jesus. The problem Is casual readers not paying attention and missing Jesus.

@Brian Jones GOD created Adam from the dust. HE took a rib out of Adams' side and created Eve. GOD told them to multiply which they did. Their gene pool was perfect, no abnormalities. So yes Cain married a sister. Then in Leviticus chapters 18-20, GOD forbade the marriage of siblings and close relatives. When GOD created everything was perfect. When man sinned, that perfection degraded causing problems in the gene pool. GODs command to NOT marry close relatives was a protective measure for the human race. JESUS IS LORD

@@alicel3992 Brian is the one with issues. He believes that life came from rocks floating around in space where no life is. He is correct about there being 40 writers. Writers from across 1500 years, inspired by God to write the 66 books in the Bible. The Bible, a book that has been around since its finish with the Apostle Paul. Each and every book in the Old Testment points to the coming of our Messiah. Even though the book of Ruth never mentions God, it displays the actions of a family's behavior after the deaths of husbands and moving back to their home. God blessed them and they are in the lineage of Jesus that was fortold. Every detail given in Isaiah 53 about his birth and death was fulfilled. This foretelling was 700 years if I remember correctly, before the actual birth. The first foretelling was by God himself in Genesis which was about 4000 years before our Emanuel came. His birth was around 2000 years ago.
