Thanks for the video! I've already purchased the upgraded wheel vise and am planning to install it this weekend. I appreciate the advice on drilling fewer holes/hole size. I'm going to do the same!

Got the lift. My 2nd infact. But this time I have the wheel vise on order. Should be here on Wednesday.

Great video man, my son and I were just down in Daytona and I happened to see a vendor working on a couple bikes and that’s where I saw the new vise so as soon as I got back into town I had to get one to replace that POS that came on it, I was always nervous with my streetglide or road king in that original vise maybe now I can relax some with the new, sturdier one…..can’t wait to install it

The stock vise on mine is still wrapped in bubble wrap, I used a chock made to mount on trailer, it holds bike up at least long enough to get off and strap it down.....it might hold it forever but I haven't tested it Venom wheel chock off amazon, but look around cheaper ones might be just as good, I can't see I did get hf wide stand alone chock, about $50, too wide to mount on lift, Harley has one similar cost way more....in the pictures you can't see why you'd pay more, but when you see both in person the Harley chock is about 20lbs heavier and way sturdier than the hf

The stock vise it comes with is trash. I used a chock on one of these tables for a about a year.

I did exactly as you said, only drilled the holes needed to mount the unit pieces, also i wait 'till H F has their discount prices, 25% off, vice was $59.95. the original vice is useless. not safe for one person to put a bike on the lift. good lift made better & safer.. I'm Tim, not Susan..

So far I’m liking the vise more. It’s easier to load and unload the bikes. I usually hold the handle bar with one hand and tighten vise with the other. For a heavy bike I might drop the side stand just in case, but yes I use it alone for loading and unloading.

Should’ve watched this first, drilled all the holes then got online to figure out why, stupid instructions. Also a stepper bit works way better

Very informative but loose that annoying music with something more entertaining.

You'll be going back to your chock instead of clamp.......eyebolts are way better than those u bolts that come with it.....plus you can use u bolts to hold chock on table
