This is a rant I have about the Harbor Freight Inner Tie Rod Removal Tool Rant Item # 63705. I had to grind one of the adaptors to get it to fit.

Harbor Freight just released a higher end version of this tool under the Maddox brand. It now includes a 1-3/8" adapter, in fact this set now has 12 adapters compared to the 7 in the Pittsburgh version.

Here I am sitting in my garage grinding one of these down. Good to see I’m not the only one that had to do this.

1 5/16 is smaller than 33.6mm, the set you have only goes up to 33.6mm The moog replacements for Dodge/Chrysler are 1 3/8 or 35mm

Thank you, now I have one that will fit.

Good rant, no need for virtually the same size, and I would have done the same mod you did in that situation.

I ended up buying A 1-3/8 crows foot adapter from Lisle 46300

I assume the Lisle part fit the Harbor Freight tool with no issue? I would expect the Chinese are smart enough to copy good tools for that reason.

You do have a choice to buy USA or Chinesium, so stop your lying breath...
