I love how Illidan doesn't immediately answer her question or respond with "You dare question me?" like the other Illidari did. Instead, he allows her to find the answer herself during the conflict. A sign of a true leader isn't one that tells you the answers, but enables you to seek the answers yourself.

Except he still did this in trademark Illidan style: -He reacted negatively when she questioned him. -He made a large theatrical show in his answer, opening the gate and ordering them through. -He then stole the kill shot from, technically everyone else. -He also showed the insane egotism of calling his people "My Illidari" -- naming the actual order after himself -- because one of Illidan's primary character traits is ego. And I'm not insulting him. It's wonderful. Just like watching a crime movie and rooting for the bad guy, we root for Illidan because he represent that dark part of ourselves that will do whatever it takes to indulge himself and come out on top.

Liam O'Brien sure does justice to Illidans voice. Amazing!

Hound Zero Completely untrue. This was easily the worst Harbingers video. The first one told a unique and fresh story and gave Gul'dan much needed backstory. The second one developed Khadgar's character and set the stage for him in Legion. This one is just a lite-version of what they did in the books. Kill some demons, say some cheesy lines, stand around and look cool. And an extremely simple explanation of what a DH is. Though you're probably an idiot, so all these things are lost on you.

To all those confused: Illidan was always a hero, but certain people wanted revenge on him such as maiev, and when Kael tricked us into thinking illidan ordered a attack against us, maiev used that as a boost in order for us to attack and kill illidans physical body.

Actually no Timeline problem here High Elves (the name Blood Elf was only recent) and Night Elves existed at the same time. Probably done for thematic effect. Easier to keep a purple and green color palette complimenting each other without breaking it via throwing in some lighter colors all of a sudden.

+Phyz Watch the ending for the mission "The Brothers Stormrage", you will see that he exiled himself not because Maiev was hunting him (he killed Naisha without the Skull of Gul'dan yet, what can she do?) but because he was trying to escape Kil'jaeden and in the same vein, he doesn't want Azeroth to perish. However, the latter did not happen on that mission but revealed later on the novel "Illidan".

Illidan was a good person , with much love to Tyrande, but he had the bad actions of the good intentions if u know what i mean. He is good, but loremasters from blizzard stated that he has to be a bad guy, and let him attack his "alliance" in shat cuz the enemy of my enemy isn`t my ally. Now they wanna repair this, i hope.

PS: he known that he cant defeat the Legion being a "human" (mean Elf :D) , and he have to become something else. he have to become a Green Arrow! ( mean a half demon half elf). Without him, we couldnt defeat the Legion 10k years ago, and without him we cant do this now. Thats why he is most important for us, for Azeroth. CUZ WE ARE NOT PREPARED!

This was absolutely gorgeous! Eventhough Gul'dan's short is my favorite this one is just purely epic - "Now you are prepared" took my breath away

The best character in the entire franchise. Simply Illidan. It deserved cinematic CGI. Not Sylvanas, who did several.

Glad i read the "Illidan" book during the vacations, now i'm fully PREPARED !

illidan probably is the best hero in warcraft and WOW in every aspect skill set, looks, voice but the only thing which always lets him down is DEFEAT , everywhere he is defeated dunno y !!!

This is truly amazing, I'm not sure how many times I've watched this but each time it brings chills down my back. Lord Illidan I am Prepared.

4 minutes of continuous goosebumps. Illidan's path has always been my favourite in the Warcraft universe.

This was so epic! I want to re-watch it in a cinematic version, that would make me more hyped than right now,

Lmao, those raging mad at Blizz for no reason, why do you think they reused that shot? They showed Maldraxxus spies showing up where the Illidari were fighting the Legion. It's no secret that the Dreadlords once got their hands on the Frostmourne and the Helm of Domination by interfering in the Shadowlands, and if Maldraxxus' sole purpose is to defend the Shadowlands from outsiders, stealing Legion plans (probably plans to invade SL) would very much prevent another case of the Legion inventing the Scourge. God, the hivemind urge to jump on Blizz is so premature it's hilarious. Their writing sucks hard, but some players' capability to process simple information is even worse.

except firefighters actually do start fies to cut fires off from areas and eventually starve them out. also fighting fire with fire has a second advantage, you will know your enemy methods as they are also your own.

In that sense a better example would be firefighers in around oil fields using explosives like dynamite to put out a fire on a wellhead. The explosives create a shock wave that pushes the oil and oxygen away from the well.

Illidan: "And they will fear you, my Illidari." Me: "logs into the game and puts on Illidari title with the quickness."

IMO Illidian is a true hero , more than any big character in WoW. He is the one to sacrifice everything to defeat the demons , even becoming one of them. He isn't like Uther , Thrall or Malfurion , that were always good , the bastion of morality , he is the one who delved into the darkness to defeat it the one who saw the great picture but always misunderstood .

I love Illidan. I'm glad they are giving him some love. He sorely need it.

To anyone who raided Black Temple, This invasion is all your fault. You just had to go and kill Illidan. He was a Hero, and would have destroyed the Burning Legion. Way. To. Go. :-)

Been waiting for this one when I heard they were doing these.

I am impressed Blizzard, trully. The last expansion I just felt like an empty shell that's throwing money in your face. But Legion is not even out and I can already proudly say THIS IS THE BEST EXPANSION EVER. Blizzard put so much emphasis on the lore this time they created an entire Scenario from which you gain absolutely nothing... EXCEPT STORY! And that's why Blizuard impressed me so much, no Expansion did so much honor to Warcraft as Legion. The new animations and different playstyle of the game made the game feel like it's a conpletely new experience. Now I proudly pay for my subscriptions, because you trully deserve it Blizzard, as you made me admit (with this expansion) that Warcraft is one of the best things ever created!

It could also be that they're going all out because this is the Last expansion. WoD could have been an elaborate and drawn out intro for this finale. I do admit that I would have found Alternate Draenor being invaded by a fel corrupted Alliance led by Medivh to have been amazing though, but that's just me.

I am wondering were we'll finally reach a point when we cannot milk out the "you are not prepared"-joke anymore.
