How does the new Hareth m30.2 XD compared to previous M30.2 40th or M30.1? Thanks!

the new harbeth xd lineups are generally more resolving in the upper range and has faster and tighter bass. But for me, it sounds a bit leaner to the previous models which is a down side. It lost bit of that euphonic sound.

A little late to the party here, but.......How do they compare to the Spendors at the back of the pic (I have them too) but have always had an 'itch' for Harbeth. Thanks.

It will be quite interesting to compare Harbeth 30.2 with Graham LS5/9, if you still have both.

its rogers. and I have compared the two side by side. I preferred the rogers ls 5/9. Harbeth sounded too thin for my taste. Rogers have richer sound in midrange and the bass. the new XD Harbeth has better top end, rogers has a smooth top end.

also rogers have deeper bass. Harbeth have faster and tighter bass(especially the new xd version) The new xd version has a more typical hi-fi sound compared to the older harbeth models.

@@juandv930722 my bad. It's Graham 5/9. Not Rogers. And I would still prefer Graham 5/9 than Harbeth. If people associate the sound of Harbeth as rich and warm, I would say the Graham 5/9 takes that even further. More rich and juicy sound than the Harbeth models. It's more romantic sounding for sure. If I compare to a milk, Harbeth is a skimmed milk and Graham 5/9 a FULL CREAM milk.
