I have asked my self over the decades of my life why people continue to question if animals have a soul or emotion and compassion? Totally wonderful to watch, this is how cows could be if given a happy life. We see them subdued & depressed most of the time. He is so right they are the most gentle creatures.

Not meaning to offend, I'm just speaking as someone that has raised cattle and wants to provide some insight. Domesticated livestock require a lot of upkeep, even if you don't plan to use them for anything. Even these dairy cows will have terrible issues if they suddenly stop milking them overnight. Hoof rot, gastrointestinal problems, parasites, and various diseases must be treated.

What wonderful people. Just seeing how happy they were being brought back to there pasture brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for making a difference

Well........keeping them happy doesn’t mean they won’t kill them later(several month or year).But I guess it’s better to die happy?

This absolutely breaks my heart. I don't know whether to smile or to cry. I'm so happy for them, but I'm also horrified and saddened by the suffering they've experienced. Although I'm vegetarian, I firmly believe that everyone should be able to eat whatever they want - however, as a species, we REALLY need to universally decide to treat our livestock better. They deserve to live happy lives, and die deaths free of pain and suffering.

brilliant video, i gave up eating beef because i dont like the way they were treated, gave up pork, lamb too. i prefer fruit and veg as my diet now and see animals as other beings who think and feel just as we do. just wish everyone would do the same and live healthy longer lives. thanks for sharing :)

Chef style meals ancient grains and nut mixes and chimichangas and hummus homemade. Lots of quinoa and cous cous, barley olives peanut butter sauces and sandwichs, and vegan bowls are amazing

really. ive been to jail, maybe thats why im vegetarian. btw my fam wants me to go fishing can i catch and eat one and my dad is raising tilapis we have 55 that need to be harvested. but we grew them. is that ok? Ive had no meat for 2 months btw. and loving it i can make hummus in like 30 secs flat.

This is ALL that matters. The wellbeing of all life. Fuck the industrial murdering of life.

I found this video to be very moving indeed and in this crazy world it is fantastic to see respect for these lovely Cows,to see them happily bouncing around and allowing them to live out their lives.Makes a change from seeing these horrible pictures of Cows with gaping holes in their sides made by psychopaths(fistula Cows) which makes me very sad and worried indeed.

Once you see how much an animal is like an intelligent person, it's difficult to want to go back to meat.

These people should be proud of themselves. They did something great.

Every time I watch this it brings tears to my eyes, just like the woman in the video. I love humans when they do things like this and it makes me want to do the same and get involved in rescuing cows.

Jotenko Yet you don't love them enough to not eat them or not support an industry that treats them terrible and slaughters them by the millions. And no, you are wrong about what people eat. Again you compare things that aren't sentient to things that are, and call everything a "living being". A plant based diet does not involve eating living beings...you know that right? And there is a massive difference between animals in the wild having to kill each other for survival, and you going to your grocery store, buying meat and acting like you need it to survive. The only people who have the right to hunt their food are the tribes and natives who live remotely and actually have to hunt to eat. I highly recommend you read up and educate yourself on the differences between a meat and plant based diet. Your opinions, views, and the way you compare wild animals to people shows you have a very limited understanding of the vegan viewpoint.

Sometimes a video doesn't always need blood and gore to promote vegetarianism or veganism. It can just take a video like this to make someone see that cows can feel happiness and look just like our dogs when they run into a field of grass. there's more to cows than we usually see of them emotionless on a farm getting milked or just eating. lovely video

I just can't say how beautiful this is, we must give something back to the animals, is just so beautiful the way they act, the freedom they express it. They look like little kids, jumping of happiness, amazing.

This is a story right out of a fairy tail. Especially when the little kid said they get to grow old their.

I dream of a world where humanity sees that we do not require meat in our diets to live a long healthy life, and begin to see the cruelty in the meat industry. But that world is beyond my lifetime. Animal cruelty actually appears to be getting worse than better with time, yes, the slaughtering of animals and the lives they are lead to live before hand is 'animal cruelty'. I'm a vegan, I'm not dead or dying yet, how bad is it to stop consuming these poor animals? I mean c'mon, if there is one thing I will never understand, it is how eating meat (as a species that doesn't need meat, as a species that is capable of feeling remorse, as a species that doesn't live by instinct & as a species that believes in morals), sees the meat industry as acceptable. :(

I politely but wholeheartedly disagree. I absolutely love videos like this, but maybe that's because I know just how rare these instances are. I know how much animals suffer every second of every day, and almost none of them get a happy ending like this. But I'm fairly educated on the matter. Average Joe/Jane will watch this video and think, "Those cows look happy. They seem like they're treated very nicely," and then continue to eat his/her meat, eggs, and dairy believing all animals get a nice retirement and are treated compassionately. Just look at the comment below this one. "Thos must be California cows lol". You and I know there is nothing further from the truth. Those "slaughterhouse" videos are needed in order to open eyes and hearts and minds. They absolutely have a place in showing people what is going on. It wasn't a video like this that opened my eyes, it was a 3 minute video of what goes on on farms and slaughterhouses.
