SU definitely won. However. Southern is losing their Essence. Which is power and cleanliness. They Some songs they sound like SU some they don't. Some, they are powerful, and some they play and you think, they're too big for this or that section to be that weak. This is a new phenomenon when it comes to SU because normally, you knew what you were going to get with Southern,. Power, top tier writing, balance and cleanliness. Now, you kind of don't know what you're gonna get. Not to mention. That Summer battle where JSU straight man handled them. IMO, Southern desperately need to clean things up and most importantly, MORE Discipline.

We say the same thing, but other fans call us undercover Boom fans, or “the band is predominantly freshman”. That’s not a good excuse because how are they going to get better if there isn’t a Doc, Haymer or Simmons on staff? They don’t want us to critique the band we love the most. I believe Haymer sort of alluded to Taylor trying to find what style he wants the Juke to be (but didn’t go into detail because he promised not to criticize SU). Taylor has to tighten up or resign because this ain’t the Juke we love. Taylor has to reintroduce SU’s real style, and see if former band members in the area can go in and help those kids during the summer. No more experimenting with sounds. I love rap just as much as the youngins, but that ain’t music-music (ballads). JSU beat us down all year by doing what we’ve always done. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The “S” has to clean house asap. That staff is pure unadulterated TRASH. Haymer and B would’ve had them boys on top of the world. This is a disgrace to any former juke.

Glad Valley is coming up... but wait.. you're not in the clear yet.... Too many of your songs sounded like they were arranged off old SU VHS tapes.... I mean.. who plays Love Is The Key against SU... with a damn near replica bootleg arrangement... no bueno.. #SimmerDownNow

I know the SU fanatics don't like to ever admit it, but JSU DID have the better year this past year. It's coming up on the 24 marching season in a few months. Let's see if they can reclaim their throne, but hands down, 23 went to JSU. And I went to another school, so there is no bias from me. My school is nowhere in this conversation 😂

Please be real SU THE BEST BAND IN THE LAND!!

Not this year SU have some issues with some sections in the band and tempo been a huge problem the last two years hope they get it together instead of ignoring the issue

@@504Chosenone bro I played trumpet 🎺 marched 96-99 I know how a trumpet section should sound. No one said they were the strongest trumpet section around or ever. But weak? No! Sound bad. No! That’s exaggerating to make you feel better about whatever program you support or like.

A clock is accurate twice a year so JSU did sound better LAST YEAR, but this is a New year. You guys flooded the internet with negative talk last year that won't work this year, but you trying.
