Awake is very personal to Jin. It's about how he feels inferior to the other members but he'll press on and try to catch up to them. His inferiority complex is something he's often struggled with although needless to say he's every bit as good as the other members. They just all have different strenghts (incl. besides their music) which when combined is what makes them the perfect storm. Jin for example is incredibly good at making commercially succesful designs, marketing and quick thinking and ccoming up with ideas on the spot. 💜

This is so true. He's always been like this. Even in the PTD LV concert where Jin was apologising for being a burden (because of his hand surgery where he couldn't perform well) Tae actually stood up and went to him and told him he's not a burden. He's the sweetest.

i really love how each of the members shows their love for seokjin is different forms with hobi for example being always there hyping him up, taehyung always ready to fight anyone who brings down seokjin including seokjin himself and always reassuring him of his skills and yoongi being there for jin and encouraging him to do what he wants and jin's famous line "if yoongi was here, he would support me" and ofc namjoon, jungkook and jimin as well 🥺💜

I think they are so protective of him Cos he is so hard on himself. He may play this character that hypes his handsomeness...but irl he is so humble and does not think his singing and dancing so special that’s why at one time he suffered from impostor syndrome. I read that this is what Abyss is all about...have you reacted to that? Yes he is so supportive but he needs lots of assurance as well... I’m glad they are there for him to boost him up! He definitely is beloved and respected by all the members!

Moon came on in my car the other day & the thought popped into my head "Moon was the original goodbye." They were supposed to take the break after the MOTS7 tour, Jin had planned to enlist then. Moon was his original goodbye to us. The other 6 members' solos on MOTS7 are more introspective/reflective. Jin's is a song for ARMY. He would've performed it to ARMY around the world then left. Just one more plan that had to be redone.

I was so captivated by Jin's voice from the very beginning, but then I got to know his comforting personality and his mature mindset that really made me respect him and admire him. So yeah, great voice and great person! Thanks for the reaction

epiphany live might be one of bts's strongest solo stages on tour also, he looked particularly gorgeous on the one you picked, god damn

Epiphany makes me cry every time. I just remember being in the audience for that performance and all of ARMY singing and bawling 🥹

One thing i admire more about BTS is how much love and respect they have for their parents.Each of them are very family oriented and I love it so much🥹🥰

When I showed my mother a photo of Jin, she told me "He looks like a prince." Since then it has been in my heart.

Even If I Die, It's You is actually the song that got me into BTS. I was only a kdrama fan before and I will say that I had unfair reservations about BTS and kpop in general (though really never to say I actively disliked or anti-ed them) but watching Hwarang and slowly realizing that not only is a BTS member one of the actors but also that that song I've been bopping out to this entire time is a BTS song really made me realize I absolutely need to give them a chance. After that I fell down the rabbit hole after listening to tae's other ost Sweet Night and Jin's funny moments compilation is one of the first ones that I watched that made me fall in love with them as people so taejin are really so special to me. And they have one of the sweetest dynamics ever too, which only increases my fondness for them daily.

Watching someone who loves Jin as much as you do for his birthday is perfect

Oh yes, seeing Jin sing Epiphany live is almost like a spiritual experience. My first BTS concert was their first stadium (Citifield) in the US and tears were STREAMING down my face when Jin sang Epiphany. Between his vocals and also hearing all ARMY singing together "I'm the one I should love"...one of the most beautiful moments of my life!

So "Mom" is a cover song the original being from Ra.D and Jin did the song for Parent's Day. Really glad you liked "Even If I Die, It's You" you will hear it quite a bit during Hwarang or just small clips of it. Yes there are a lot of great clips from RUN BTS! the show, they have a lot of fun on the show doing all sorts of things and they started branching out trying new things like the flower arranging episode 99 and well you've probably seen pics from the newer flying yoga episodes.

@@MarinaEariel @MarinaEariel oh yeah I've noticed the difference in recent years too but the whole issue with them is still icky and there's a bunch of other good lyric videos (af taehyung & bbts9717) Im just hoping he avoids those 2 channels (jaeguchi & lemoring) especially for newer songs cause I know he pays extra attention to their lyrics

- It's Definitely You is one of my favorite songs. Total bop and they're like the perfect voice mix. They only performed it live once but it sounded amazing, especially Jin's long belted notes. Unlike the online ONE concert (sadly the only live performance of Moon) which had a lot of technical soundproblems imo. - Jin still has his mom. He even addressed her from stage when his parents went to one of their concerts and it was rather heartbreaking tbh. How he'd never heard her brag about him but he hoped she was proud of him now. 😭 - Jin is actually the only one of the guys to come from money (he sometimes supplemented their fridge out of pocket in their early days). His dad's a CEO. I think that that security combined with him being the oldest member but actually the youngest in his own family explains a lot of his personality. - Also, Jin has made some of their most iconic speeches. You should watch one the eloquence compilations. Two other good ones are How Kim Seokjin Shocked The World With His Visuals and Jin The Athletic Heartthrob. 💜

Epiphany live is a spiritual experience, no one watched Epiphany live with dry eyes. Jin made 50/60k + audience cry with Epiphany. That's how Powerful he and his singing is.

Epiphany: This message is so important and delivered so beautifully. Jin doesn't play piano well, but he learned how to play this song for his performances. Mom: Jin may not have written the words, but I feel confident they illustrate Jin's relationship with his mother very well. He is very close to his parents and the members have teased him a lot over the years for being such a mama's boy. Moon: I think this was meant to be a goodbye song to ARMY before the pandemic changed everything for BTS. I am thankful for the person who decided to allow Jin to hug the earth in his beautiful pink blouse in this performance. It's Gonna Be You: Tae and Jin sound so good together. I've seen this lyric vid so many times and it looks like Tae is imploring Jin to come back and Jin is giving side eye. But we all know after the side eye, Jin is going to do whatever Tae asks of him. Awake: This is from the Wings era 2016-2017. This is the song that made me fall in love with Jin. He has my whole heart. You picked two really cute compilation videos. JinnieEats is such a fun and wholesome channel. You asked "What is this?" during the last video and the answer is MAMA 2019, which you should react to sometime. It's an amazing performance. Also, you should definitely watch Hwarang. It's a period drama and every single main character is amazing, but I think Minho was my favorite!

Hwarang is one of my favorite dramas. It's highly adorable and V did such a great job acting in the show as well. I actually rewatch it often when I'm in the mood for some happy and emotional tears and laughter. There's actually several kpop stars are in it as well as his brothers and it really just is amazing. It's a beautiful love story, definitely must try and watch it! Maybe set up a episode stream segment of you watching it and reacting live or something. I'd sure watch it

This is the first time I heard his cover of mom! I only heard a bit of it because they were listening and singing to it in one episode of Bon voyage...while they were all a bit drunk! I remember Yoongi singing the chorus at the top of his lungs...lol so I know it’s very emotional. He may not have written the song but doing a cover and putting it out in the public is still a very special gift to his mom! This song really highlights his ability as a balladeer! You should watch their live performance of this...when I watched this kdrama I didn’t know anything about BTS! The drama is a historical drama based on true history. When a Queen of that time decided to create a special warrior class made up of flower boys...handsome sons of the elite...to protect the throne. So the warriors are all these handsome guys, so they casted several idols in the roles. It’s historical drama but they added some modern elements to it. I really liked it but as I said earlier...the main couple ruined it for me! Btw...Tae was amazing in this drama!

The story of Hwarang takes place at a training school for young men who will be warriors. I only watched a couple episodes from the end of one season, and I was totally into it. It’s dramatic with light moments. SorryI can’t describe it better.

Their best concert audios are their DVDs! Hwarang is a historical period drama. I think Hwarang meant something like young male warriors (with handsome faces), and I think that's where the "flower" is used in Korea to describe someone who has pretty faces, cause Hwarang also means Flowering Knights. anyway, "Even if I die, It's you" was definitely the first BTS song I've heard without me knowing it's a BTS song lol.. even after all these years, I still remember that song so I was really shocked when I started stanning BTS and heard it 😅
