In case anyone is watching this, this is no longer applicable. There are now two clients for this game, the Arc client and the Windows Store client. The Windows Store client is still exclusive to windows 10 because only windows 10 is XBox crossplay compatible. However the Arc client is for any version of windows (including 10), and will most likely end up being the larger of the two clients, so get the arc client.

+AveRoMan honestly its very easy to get gigantic beta keys. more than likely if you ask one of the streamers they will have one to give also the reddit page where you can ask for a key and more than likely you would get one

+AveRoMan Please enroll in the beta at www.gogigantic.com , theres a decent chance you'll get a key. Also dont' worry too much about them working on Skins. when games are made, not every single part of the game is done at the same time, so Art might have extra time to make new skins while Gameplay teams are improving the core game. Remember game studios are made of lots of people doing various jobs all at the same time :D
