Happy Hacking Keyboard Speed Typing Review! Expensive but sounds GREAT!

Ойындар

Thanks again to Fujitsu for making this video possible! I have links to where you can buy this keyboard below.
I was so excited to get my hands on the Happy Hacking Professional Hybrid Type-S and see for myself if it deserves the hype behind it! In my opinion, I think that the typing sounds are awesome but you'll listen for yourself and see what you think! After playing with it some more, I've reached my true average on this keyboard which is nice.
One other thing I forgot to mention - there are some easy ways you can customize this keyboard (changing which key is alt, windows etc.). You can also flip a switch to make it compatible with mac.

Keyboard: Happy Hacking Professional Hybrid Type-S

Website: play.typeracer.com
Laptop: Dell g3
I use the Dvorak keyboard layout, which is an alternate arrangement of the keys. So, for example, when I press the “j” key, “h” is what is registered.

Despite having something like 14 keyboards (5 of which are HHKB layout and reaching pricing of up to $800 each) I still keep coming back to my HHKB pro 2. There is just something really nice about the weight and balance of this keyboard, and the keycaps actually flow into each other. The arrows, page up/down, home/end grow on you. And in time I have been just buidling my boards to have 1.75 u right shift to accommodate HHKB key binds. Backspace positioning is also really nice. Glad you had a chance to really test this keyboard out. While I don't see any improvement in my speed by rotating between luxury keyboards, they certain give you amazing experience and reduce finger fatigue to null. Makes me it worth it for those that type alot.

Finally someone said it! I hate that mechanical keyboards and gaming keyboards are constantly mashed together, especially in reviews and such. There's a huge group of people out there who could benefit from a nice mechanical keyboard, but who are not gamers and do not like the gamer aesthetic. Luckily, the market is expanding and it's not just the keyboard enthusiasts with custom builds who get to enjoy premium mechs without the "gaming" label.

Hey John! I also had the issue of not being able to utilize the multimedia keys on my new HHKB. After a lot of digging I found that the solution is to switch the dip switches so that it is on mac mode (even if you're on windows, which I am) and then restart it. Apparently, at least for the stock keyboard, the media keys are only available with the mac configuration and I haven't noticed any improper functionality while on mac mode on windows.

Usually you have to type consistently in order to build muscle memory and the speed will come. Accuracy and speed can’t be both improved both at once. I recommend having a 1 hour typing session 30 minutes each for raw speed and accuracy or try to make equal time or so.

No. They don't make a lot of sales like others keyboards, they don't make a lot of units, so it's logic to put that price that high (otherwise is not a bussiness). I try other swtiches, logitech romer-g sound alike, but I still prefering topre + hhkb
