    So my brother saw Christopher McDonald in an airport a few years ago and said "Hey shooter!" Christopher McDonald replied all annoyed "Seriously dude, that movie's like 20 years old." My brother's thinking man what a dick, and when he starts to walk away McDonald calls out, "Hey!", my bro turns around, and McDonald in character with the fingers goes "Bang, bang!". Best interaction ever.

    Definitely one of Sandlers best comedies if not his best. So many great quotes and memorable characters. At the time of this release Ben stiller was virtually unknown and definitely not a household name. His father was the more famous one. Yet he made an impact with the few short scenes he had. Unforgettable!

  • @tfpp1
    @tfpp13 жыл бұрын

    I was lucky enough to attend a taping with a friend of The Price Is Right while Bob Barker was still hosting in the early 2000s. During commercial breaks he'd engage with the audience and tell jokes and whatnot. Anyway, during one of the breaks, the audience was trying to goad him into saying "that line" from Happy Gilmore. He hemmed and hawed and dragged it out, saying "now look, this is a family show and I'm going to check with my producer first to see if it's all right. If he says I can say the line then I will. But if he says I'm NOT allowed to say it..." The audience noise level went up, trying to persuade the producer to let him say the line. Finally, Bob turns to his producer and literally asks the question like this: "These fine people want to know if I can say 'the price is right, BITCH'!!" Instant eruption from the audience. XD Man, Bob is a legend.

We went to pick up and return the VHS and I asked my grandfather "Was it any good?" He said, "It was funny as hell!" I said, "... what? Really?" "Oh yeah," he said. "When he beat up Bob Barker, that was really something." The wrong VHS had been in the case, and he'd watched Happy Gilmore, and loved it. Man I miss my grandfather :D
