What is the Immaculate prayer?
I, (name), a repentant sinner, cast myself at your feet, humbly imploring you to take me with all that I am and have, wholly to yourself as your possession and property. Please make of me, of all my powers of soul and body, of my whole life, death and eternity, whatever most pleases you.
Traditionally, the Immaculate heart is depicted pierced with seven wounds or swords, in homage to the seven dolors of MARY and roses, usually red or white, wrapped around the Heart.
Why is Mary's heart pierced?
The piercing of her heart opens a mystical wound in the Mother of God. ... Mary clung to it, and if she could have traded places with her Son she would have. Thus it becomes obvious that not only was Mary a martyr, but the martyr who suffered the most.
