Wow this turned out so nicely! This song is so special to vid and I enjoy it a lot, and knew this would be great. I've been re-watching Parks & Recreation lately and it was fun to see Rob Lowe here :D Thank you Emily for putting it all together, and nice job paralleling the hugs in the Owen/T.K. and Shaun/Glassman part. Also, Taryn's Smallville part was so perfect for the lyrics. I really enjoyed this!

I do think part of why I've been rewatching Brothers & Sisters is to see more of Rob Lowe myself. I really need to vid a full T.K. & Owen fanvideo soon. They had far too many scenes that I wished I had time to vid in here lol.

I agree, it all blends together so well this time! Loved your part so much. Thanks for participating! Bobby is really the best stepdad ever :) Oh yeah there's more in here than I fully comprehended. Like 3 different pairs where father and child are firefighters lol. Well idk i guess Andy Herrera is a paramedic not a firefighter but close. T.K. is also only a firefighter like his dad at the start of the show and later is a paramedic instead lol. And 2 more, including your part, with a firefighter dad even if the kids aren't lol. So 5 firefighter dads. Good catch. Also at least 9 out of 21 dads in here are dads to non-biological children. Quite the high count this time!

⁠Thanks! I just knew I had to vid Bobby when I heard the song I feel like it fits him so well :) also great about the non bio dads I always love when we in these videos can represent that sometimes family is about more than biology.

@@Eventyrpige I told my dad about your observation that 5 of the dads featured were firefighters and he says "firefighters are great dads" lol which amused me quite a bit... TV certainly makes us think firefighters are some of the best dads out there. I think firefighting is the masculine ideal of being super brave/dangerous/physically difficult and impressive but at the same time it's all in the name of an amazingly powerful cause, the best attributes of dads of caring more about another person or other people than yourself and being willing to sacrifice some things for their well being, to be motivated to protect your child or the public/strangers is a wonderful thing. Men as protectors and heroes.

Thank you so much, Traci! It's a bunch of us vidders who made it, and I edited 22% of the video plus added the coloring and synced it up, made sure the audio volume for everyone's voiceovers sounded good, stuff like that :)

I have literally been looking non-stop for a vid like this that includes Adam and Makayla, and your is the first I've found. I LOVE IT!!! It has so many that I love too. Owen and TK, Vince and Bode, Bobby with May and Harry, and Jonathan and Clark are all some of my favs.

So glad you loved this collab so much! I will let the specific vidders who vidded your faves know 😊 -- I really enjoyed vidding Owen/T.K. myself and would love to do a whole vid about them one day. Unfortunately I think I lost all my clips of them I'd already made and think my external hard drive broke so it's painful to think of starting over from scratch with clips though... I still might though. They are so wonderful.

I also vidded the series very briefly in my birthday collab this past January! Both my sets of parts had a character from it, a little bit of Claire and a little bit of Shaun in the 4 parts I made in that collab.

THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out at 1am😭 The scenes are sooo amazing and I just love how you do these thematic videos on international days like this one and so on! I really love the inclusion of Daryl from TWD in this one as well!!❤️❤️
