It may be cliché, but Chester. when hybrid theory came out, it hit me differently. Then years later I found out Chester went thru some stuff similar to what i went thru as a child. Things that never leave your brain. Linkin Park was an amazing escape for me. Helped and still helps me get through the tough shit. RIP brother!! 6 more days til i get my Chester tattoo

Just when I thought I didn’t have a “happy song” I come back to this gem. I’ll never forget the time I met Mike Shinoda back in the day when Linkin Park opened for Kottonmouth Kings. Def in my top 5 favorite moments of life.

Started listening specifically to you from last few months and i just get so positive vibes from you, makes me feel comforting. The one and only thing I love about music no matter the genre, is that it taps the emotions. Could be anything but I guarantee that someone will feel something. Music has saved me more than once and as long as I get to experience people like Mike as long as I can then I know I'll live long enough to be happy.

Why did it took me a year to fully love this song. It is probably I was in the dark for years and only a week ago I was fed up, sick and tired of pulling myself to the ground and have started going straight for the light. My anxiety and depression is still there, in fact my panic attacks have been very active this past few weeks but I have never been more positive in life than ever than just this week. I have started running again, have been doing home workouts. Planning to go to the gym next week after I fix my schedule. I have been eating better but of course it has been only a week but like what most people say, one step at a time. I have never been more happy that finally I have started moving forward. I hope It will get even more better as long as I continue. Thanks for this song. This gives me even more confidence.

I think "being there for the fans" is a legitimate way for him to feel purpose in this uncertain times. I sure hope he takes care of his mental health and does not drain him self out to uphold an image - but at the same time: When he shows him self to the public (which takes a lot of energy) to create a good vibe: Feeling and seeing the positivity of his fans also gives energy to him.

Cool blend of talent here, all 3 holding it down well. If it helps to have a hero to emulate have at it. Really I think it's better just to try to do one thing right, if you accomplish that, try another because doing the right thing is always hard and usually comes without praise.

So much joy and happy fresh power and energy in this song ! How could I've past this year without even hear it ?! Thanks Mike for bringing me my happiness back ! :D Also, I couldn't write it down in your pinned comment but here it is who saved me this year, since you seem to care : My beloved family and friends, this kind of uplifting music, even my former job, dammit. Having a shoulder where to lay sometimes saved me from madness so many times I've lost count. But now I realize it was myself for the most part : taking harsh decisions changing my life drastically in a better way, keeping a positive state of mind and and open heart attitude was something no one else but me could do, all that I needed was a kickstart :) Well, maybe several hahaha.

@@gunoumdatasca4809 Mike should be credited for Linkin Park's success too, he was the brain behind the band, not Chester, also Fort Minor won tons of awards, sold millions and Mike was the frontman, not taking credit from anyone but his band was the last one to beat numerous Pop artists in the charts playing Rock music.

Am always excited to watch Mike's music vdos cuz they r soo beautiful nd unique in its own way 🔥

My local radio station has this song on a schedule. Every morning at 4:30 when my alarm clock goes of and when I get in my car to go to work, at 7 or at 8:40 I'm blessed with Mike Shinoda. This is not exaggerated.

I wish every radio station would do that. Ours doesn't even play any of Linkin Park's songs anymore :/ The radio was how I found Crawling, Numb and Shadow of the Day. I just looked up the albums and then I found other songs from recommendations, Alexa(I hate AI still and forever will) and notifications lol. So sure I get to here the songs I like whenever however, but it's nice to hear it on the radio from time to time, which will probably never happen again... Life sucks and just being alive has made me crazy and depressed. Everything else has made me insane and I don't think there is any other way to help me other than doing it through death... God is the God of Chaos and that is what He did. He made a chaotic world and there is nothing we can do. We might as well all just die suddenly. No pain, just death... peace will never rein in a world made by the God of Chaos nor a universe made for the God of Chaos. >:(

I can't believe how much of my current thinking you so eloquently conveyed in this song. I sat down and wrote all the things I wanted to change a few months ago and here I am with the same skills and behaviors I had before.Yet I still believe I'll change all of those things and I still view myself as the hero of my own story.

Mike Shinoda still an absolute legend. You guys were the soundtrack to my teenage years, when I was learning to feel, and now, you're the soundtrack to 20-something me trying to make something out of my life. Thank you. Never gone, never forgotten.
