    As an avid TV viewer with only one in the house. Watching this show every Tuesday was a must. Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Threes Company, it was a special lineup for us. Now looking back at 59, and losing my parent my sister, and watching our beloved childhood memories becoming a dim memory: I realize even more now that every second spend with family and friends is important. It didn’t seem so important or even special during these times, but looking back it was the best period of my life. Hearing my mom sing Rock around the clock,mic only I could hear her sing the theme to Happy Days just one more time. Thanks for the memories and Rest In Peace to all the actors who have gone to their rewards, and my beloved family. ⭐️

  • @tii2015

    @tii2015

    4 жыл бұрын

    Michael Britton, Getting older is sad in some respects. Eventually, we won't get older and we pass on. The sad part of passing on is that we don't get to spend time with or see the ones we love or do the things we like to do (possibly). (You never really know about the afterlife until you get there, I guess. BUT!!! The great part of getting older is......you know so much more. You have the opportunity to teach younger generations to avoid situations or mistakes you made. You may get to be a Grandparent or an Uncle or Aunt. You might have the opportunity to be an inspiration to one or many, many people. It's difficult to be any of these things when your'e young, but with the wisdom & experience you gain from getting older, you have the chance to be so much more. To be something that everyone remembers and holds in high respect. I miss my youth also, but I'm thankful for the experience I've gained and experiences I've gone through. I wouldn't be who I am, and neither would any of us, if we didn't "get old". Much peace to you Sir! TII

    Everybody in this show played a special role. Richie, Ralph and Potsie could always be talking about the chicks. While the Fonz would listen to them. Or if Pink or Leather were in, he would attend to them first and then with Richie and company. Then there's Howard and Marion Cunningham the folks of Richie and Joanie. Then comes Chachi, who is a relative of the Fonzie, tries his very best to win Joanie's heart and at the last episode of Happy Days they get married. Mar. 3, 2020 @ 8:52 am.

    My heart goes out to Erin Moran...aka..."Joanie". She ended up losing her house because she couldn't find work. She was homeless until her mother in law took her in. She died of stage 4 cancer of the throat @ age 56. So sad! If I were one of those cast members, I would've helped her or at least took her in, during the time(s) she was homeless.

    As one said,.. Time goes by for all of us. How we use it is what determines how our lives progress or cease. I think sometimes I would rather just remember them all the way they were but again, we don’t control that so we just have to take life Day by Day. I still miss all of the ones that have left us as if it was just yesterday. I grew up watching these so much that it’s like they say, you watched it so much almost as if they were part of your Family. May sound stupid to some but that’s just how I see things. I will remember them just as I remember the 9-11 events. Yes, it was more catastrophic, but it still is someone taken from us and I just hope everyone understands what I mean.👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻

However I guess nothing stands still we all move on in some way or another, we all age.So the message I think should be try enjoy the moment embrace each day Try each day to be better person than day before, try enjoy life. @@not-so-smartaleck8987 Suzy had a wealth of great songs even though they may of not reached the charts here in the states. I recommend you google up her name & type in songs by Suzi Quarto & give a listen to some. "Baby Your a Star" if that song don't get ya up rocking you must be dead. lol Then there's a real favorite of mine called "Starlight Lady" which is a nice song & then there's "Hollywood" & then there's Two Miles Out of Georgia" & there's always her mainstay classics like "Stumblin In" "Devil Gate Drive" & "Cats Eyes" just to name a few. I own a 4 cd set of hers with a boatload of these great tracks & it even comes with a booklet chalk full of pics of Suzi & some story's behind a lot of her songs. The 4 cd set is called Suzi Quatro The Girl From Detroit City which is a MUST ADD to any music collection!!! And you can see videos of a lot of the songs I mentioned right here on youtube. Oh and one more song that rocks is a song called "I May Be Too Young" & it rocks due too the guitar riffs that are in it. As always Suzi NAILED IT!!! I was blessed to see her in concert before & damn if she doesn't ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And she's a HOTTIE too!!! lol But yeah, ya get a sec, ya may wanna give some of her other works a listen to. Odds are, you'll be glad you did & your ears will thank ya! Just saying.

Penny Marshall as LaVerne, Joannie aka Cupcake, Robin Williams as the 👽 Mork from Ork who played in 2 or 3 episodes. I love when Mork date is LaVerne wearing Richie clothes. Laurette Spang who played on Battlestar Galactica as Cassiopeia as Lieutenant Starbuck girlfriend.

As we age, (I’m now 52), it is realistic that we get emotional and sad to recollect on this kind of media exposure!
