Hare Krishna. How and from where do you acquire cow leather to make this Mridanga ahimsa product ? There were some videos shared over public platforms in which some leather sellers from Māyāpur were saying that even though they sell leather by saying Ahimsa but it is not and it comes from the killing of cows. So, please confirm on this.

I’m curious now too, but I hope they are from cows that have naturally passed on. If you haven’t bought a mridanga yet and you are thinking of buying, then you can buy from Madura mridanga. Madhura mridanga doesn’t use any animal leather, so it is completely ahimsa. It also sounds really good and you can tune it. Jai baladev!
