Good morning, afternoon or evening, technodad. I came to watch this video after a year. Like some comments, I refused to watch techno’s videos after his passing and just couldn’t bear that he was gone. I came here because i wanted to feel a sense of grief be released from me. Whenever I watched his videos, it made me feel as if I was a little kid. I know that you know, your son was a huge inspiration to others, whether they were young or old. I know that he is one man, but that one man influenced others ten fold; all by playing a blocky, sandbox game. I know I am still a teen, I am scared of what awaits me in the future, when I’ll die, how I’ll die, but I am glad that he gave me the motivation to achieve what i thought couldn’t; and i applaud him and you for that. Although you may not read this, but in the case you do; Mister Technodad, I personally thank you in behalf of anyone and everyone who was inspired by your son, or a fan. And although the painter is gone, the art he has created never dies. Thank You.

For the short life that he had, he lived it well. He should have had more time on this earth. Yeah it was always the saddest scene in the show for me because it felt so real and knowing things like that actually happen... Now seeing this I thought of that as well and its devastating to even try to imagine how it must feel to lose someone like that I just shy away from it when I try to imagine it and cant imagine what it would be like for it to be a reality. Seeing the love this dad has for his son makes me realize how even though he is there on a screen, like movies, he is somewhere in the world in real life without his son. Its real. I'm sure that he died thinking about his wonderful family and how much they love him, and I'm sure it gave him peace.

I still come back to this video often and every time it effortlessly makes me bawl. Techno changed my life in ways I never expected a content creator to. His vids made me laugh and smile even during my worst days. Up to now, I find myself occasionally basing my sense of humor off of his uplifting, hysterical personality. He inspired me to always be kind to others and remind them to be happy, even with all the struggles. He inspired my perseverance in doing what I love, and loving what I do, instead of just listening to the naysayers who tell me making money is the only thing that matters. He gave me a sense of motivation that despite me not being the best socially, I could find a place where I truly felt at home and be able to find people who appreciated me for who I was. He made me remind myself that being good at what you do and constantly striving to be better does not suck out all the fun of it. We can still strive to give the best performance we can and love every second of it, its not one or the other. Techno gave me more values and morals to go by than probably any content creator I’d followed in the past and still up to now, and for that all the memories of being a follower of his will forever have a special place in my heart.

Technoblade never dies, happy birthday techno.

The fact this man lost his son and kept up with technos channel, talking to his fans, making content and merch and everything else hes done for us. I hope the best and most luck for him in life and that hes doing ok xx

Interesting tid bit of information here. He did a stage on discord awhile back and I asked him specifically why he decided to continue interacting with Techno's community. He said something to the effect of that he saw others were impacted in similar amounts to him and he wanted to make sure everyone knew he was there. He realized just how much Techno meant to us all and wanted to make sure we could all grieve together.

It is sad. That was the last piece that voice actor of Iroh did before he ultimately passed himself. That is why his song is so full of emotion. It was raw.

At some point I began wondering why you were doing all this, why you continued to speak with Technoblade's friends, getting to know them and understand your son better and live through the way he lived. I think I get it now. It's your way of processing grief and getting closure. You want to do right by your son. You chose to face your grief head on, wearing your heart on your sleeve every day for us to see. If even the father of Technoblade can move on and become an inspiration to all of us in spite of his suffering, surely we are all capable of the same. My name is Akumo and I am one of us.

This video is the first that has genuinely made me cry in years. Going into middle school, I was immediately hit with the quarantine, and the way I coped with being stuck inside all day was watching videos. Technoblade was the person I watched the most during this time, and I continued to watch him even as the quarantine ended and we regained the ability to go outside. Although there is nothing special I went through in those times, I believe that I can't just watch this video and click onto another without leaving a comment. I regret that I am only seeing this video 7 months after it was posted, but I am glad that I was able to see it at all. Thank you for this, and know that to his fans, Technoblade never dies.

He’s so emotionally supportive as a parent. This is something we need more of in this world.

I kind of avoided watching this video because I knew I would ugly cry (I was right) but I'm glad I watched it. It's a beautiful tribute, and you're honestly an amazing dad and an inspiration to all of us like Techno was. Thank you for sharing this tribute and for being such an amazing person

This has me in tears. Technodad you do so much for all of us while still grieving. Edits, art, and writings were made for him on his birthday. It really made me cry when you put down the potatoes and started singing the poem.

Happy birthday man you were the one that keeps me alive

In two days it shall be his birthday once more and I am really sad I never had the physical chance to watch his videos until 1 year ago, going back and watching from the start as a new face.

Your son is still very much alive in a sense. His legacy is one that will forever be cemented on this platform and you can always hear his voice, his laugh or whatever you want again, while also knowing that it made millions of people happy. Techno never dies

The moment you walked towards that tree I realised what was gonna happen and I just started crying. Thank you for helping us TechnoDad. Thank you for everything you do. Techno, I miss you. So so much. A couple days ago I turned 24, yet you never get to. I'm so sorry. Wherever you are, I hope you're still smiling.
