The excitement you are feeling for the big Ariel doll is contagious. She is beautiful and very special. I would buy her also if she was available here. Both of my daughters received their master's degrees and while it was very hard and time consuming, they are both making six figure salaries and are able to take care of themselves financially. Yes it will be worth it in the end. Your doll unboxings are always fun to watch and your commentary is very funny. You always put a smile on my face so thanks for that.

Here's some more insight about The Little Mermaid remake since Disney has come out and said that it was successful for them: TLM underperformed in the box office but its theatrical run was still a moderate success, as it managed to turn a small profit. But where Disney is seeing the real return on their investments is actually from the merch, which has arguably been overperforming. While we don't have hard figures, we do know that the dolls have been consistently selling and we are still getting new TLM merch way past the movie's prime. Every company has their own metrics for what they consider a successful film, but usually for kids movies selling merch is the most important goal, moreso than the box office run (eg: Transformers, Cars). There's a bit more I can get into, but the gist of it is this remake definitely wasn't considered a wash! And omg I recently heard that King Magnifico song too and was straight confused? Sounded more like a kiddy bop than an epic villain song. Idk it seemed way too infantile and upbeat to be a grown man's theme song. It was doubly jarring cause I checked it out right after rewatching "Friends On The Other Side", which is PEAK villain song for me

A couple weeks ago I walked out of my Target and I saw Elsa and Mickey painted on the side of the building right outside. I googled to see what it was and it's the 100th Anniversary Exhibit. I can't believe it's right here by my house. Because I saw it so early I was lucky enough to get a ticket to go on opening day. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I look forward to and love all your videos. ❤

Omg I’m so sorry about your uncle. I know you said you weren’t super close, but it’s never great to hear. My best friend passed two years ago and then another close friend I’d known since middle school (I’m 33 now) and then my dads dog (people who have never had a dog don’t know how devastating that is) and then my dad earlier this year. I know how you feel and really hope you’re doing alright. Your vids always make me happy to see. Always make me laugh and enjoy seeing different dolls as a newish collector (since 2019).

Thanks for showing the male dolls, not many ppl review them and i enjoy collecting them. I was on the fence about the ted lasso...i too never watched the show but wanted him for the mustache lol. Condolences and yes, school is worth it if you can go and finish. I struggled and looking back, im so glad I finished. ❤ hang in there. Keep your loved ones in your heart and memories.

Personally, I'll never forgive live action TLM for not including Ariel's iconic periwinkle seafoam sparkles moment 😿💔

I agree the only times I’m like ok with the pet is when it’s appropriate like a Mattel Dorothy doll better have a Toto! And I always love when Ariel comes with flounder but like a random cat with a random Barbie nah I’m good. And yes the original sugars daddy Ken should have been released!!!!

So I was worried I wouldn’t get any LA Mattel Arial dolls as I couldn’t find them anywhere. Thankfully the gods at Macy’s who decide on what to get to stock got the blue dress doll (there was one left when I was there) and some time after I got that doll which was last month I found a bunch of the mermaid version at the same store so I got both now yay.

Maybe I’ll find the pink dress one there and yeah my Macy’s has had some good stuff. I actually also got a 30 dollars Christmas Minnie Mouse plush on sale for ten bucks. Steal of a deal and she’s in really good quality. Looks like something you’d see in the Disney Store.

I haven't seen my family, at all, since 2016. I chose to stay overseas to do my MA and PhD, thanks to that and works events, I've missed all weddings and attended funerals via Whatsapp. It sucks, but I'll get through it. You'll get through this too. I gave in and bought model horses this week, even though I'm on a tight budget, but sometimes it's good to treat yourself. I'm ignoring doll channels where people are doing hauls all the time. It's annoying and just excessive for me right now.
