I was about to turn 8 years old in 1970 and I had the radio on.I'll never forget hearing this voice coming out of the radio. I stopped dead in my tracks and said to myself who is that? What is that voice coming out of my radio? I instantly loved Karen and felt the same way when I saw her on t.v. I often comment that we listen to or watch other singers and after 2 hours we move on because it is just music from ppl. Karen was different from everyone else.I still listen to and watch her daily. She was such a funny and talented person with such warmth and a special soul.❤
