Being a guy in my 60s, of course I remember the Osmonds. I was more of a Rock N Roll guy, but always recognized the Osmonds talent(the Jacksons as well). So I recently viewed a bunch of Osmond videos on KZread. As much as I think all of the Osmonds are great, Alan is now my favorite Osmond. What a wonderful guy.

Reminded me of my ex- husband, everytime he mowed the lawn he'd pick a rose from our garden and call me to the patio door where he would hand it to me with a loving smile.

Although his touring schedule did not allow Alan to be a student at BYU, he was always a huge supporter of the University. The cassette tapes of his boys (The Osmond Boys) were our family favorites for road trips. When I later served as President of the BYU Alumni Association, we honored Alan with an Honorary Alumni Award and instead of a typical speech, he had his sons come to the podium and sing an 8-part harmony of "Love at Home". It was absolutely stunning. Some years later, we facilitated his family's transportation on a Sunday so they could participate in Church services while their boys were performing in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in Dallas, TX. Alan is such a humble yet vibrant man, and his wife Suzanne is charming and his equal in every positive way. The world is a better place because of the Alan and Suzanne Osmond family.

Wow, I'm officially old! Lol! The Osmonds were doing a run at the Tropicana in Las Vegas when Alan got married. The night before Alan joked around singing "I'm getting married in the morning!". We fans were clueless! The next day he was back in Vegas with Suzanne. I was there and was among the first of the fans who got to meet Mrs. Alan Osmond!

Nathan this is a a blessing..wonderful..touching..the blessing of God's love..we today got a wonderful kind message from Alan your Father on facebook..made our day..we are new to LDS Mormon Church it is such a blessing..My Wife Mandy and I want to get remarried at the Temple..Also my wife Mandy went blind in 2005 and recently the dr said that within 10 years she has a huge chance to see again..Praise God..many best wishes and God bless from us both the Darlings Mark & Mandy :) :)

I am suddenly back in my basement in my childhood home in VA where I was raised until my second year of college. And in that basement, one voice stands out on the Osmonds' album my brother and I are listening to. This is that voice. Thankful for the chance to walk back in time and listen and remember.

I thought I recognized the camper, but I hadn't seen their dogs. They go to my church. She remembered me, you're the Mormon girl! And she asked bobby and I to go to Sacrament Meeting Sunday. We said absolutely! And she asked how was I was doing. I'm "stuck in Jacob"! Life is still that crazy stuff that was going on, and I know why become a member of the Church! I am so proud of my cousin Suzanne. We grew up in SF. We had a performing group. Suzanne played the piano, I played the guitar and sang, and Joey Bellows played the drums. We played at the Jolley Reunions at Uncle Orlando's ranch up Springville Canyon. You married Alan. Me, Ned and Brad came to LV and saw the Osmond's perform at the Tropicana. We went to Sunday School the next morning then had lunch at the Tropicana. The connection continues!

During the "Osmond-mania" " years, my favorite was always Alan. I adored him. When he married Suzanne, I, of course, was jealous and heartbroken ...beeeeYOND! But I do remember I found solace in the fact that she was a blonde and slightly resembled me-lol! Yes, congratulations. Wow. I think what drew me to the Osmonds and Donny all those years ago was their wholeness and goodness and whilst there have been many let downs in my life, when I see this video and Donny and Debras anniversary video, they are not one! I am so impressed. They know how to 'do' families and keep them together. (Also very good at making boys ;) )

Every time I see these pictures I know who I'm gonna see and that's 2 people who only look right when they're together, she makes him look good and vice versa. The kids just add a most delightful accent to the picture of a handsome couple that of proud parents of a very good looking family!
