Happily Ever Disaster - The Bachelor Breakdown Clayton's Season Finale RECAP (Part 2)

Ойын-сауық

So it's finally time for Clayton's journey as The Bachelor to end. And with him asking Gabby and Rachel to stay then immediately turning back to Susie... this is going to be a disaster. Will Susie take him back? How will Gabby and Rachel respond to Clayton at the After the Final Rose? Plus who will be the next Bachelorette? Or should I say Bachelorettes.... All this is in the latest recap for The Bachelor Season 26 Finale (part 2)!

Gabby showed a remarkable amount of self-awareness during the ATFR. Gabby and Rachel aren’t the only women who’ve ever been hurt. I had a guy do worse to me. He dated me for several months, began using the I’m too busy working excuse - he wouldn’t even see me on NYE - and then he eventually broke up with me for no good reason and he later acted as if I had done something wrong. He later tried chasing after me but I was done. He was the one I wanted to be with but he treated me too much like crap. He even later shoved other women into my face after he broke off things between us. Men are jerks and this is why we women can’t be too nice with men. All women need to read the book “Why Men Love Bitches” by Sherry Argov. She uses the B word as “Babe In Total Control of Herself”

@@Paul-te8gi why do ppl like you always conveniently forget all the ppl behind the scenes that could have also influence Gabby's decision to stay? Like it really didn't seem like she was gonna stay after the convo ended, but then she came anyways. It's very possible she could have had a convo with one of the producers in between and got convinced into staying for a better finale. But no, no one wants to apply actual logic to reality tv when producers always have a large role to play behind the scenes. Edit: Also I see a lot of myself in Gabby, I would have left after the Shanae debacle though, but if the producers hinted that they were thinking of making me the next bachelorette or something if I wasn't at the end of it I might have stayed too.

Reality TV has existed long enough for us to know that production will influence what they want to get the narrative they want, cast knows this going in. They apparently wouldn't let Susie be the first Fantasy Suite because they thought the show would end if that happened, sure makes sense, but that's where their part ends. It could just be the editing, but it's like a switch goes off when Susie tells him she can't be with him, like once he couldn't have her he just couldn't stop wanting her. But again, who knows how much was manipulated by the edits. It's just so odd that the consensus was him & Rachel then suddenly nope. Even when Gabby left he had to chase her until he sent her away. Sort of makes me view Clayton giving Sally that rose when she was hesitating if she should stay on the season differently. But again, editing, yadda yadda yadda, it's not like he chased after every woman who left him. Hope him & Susie make it work and that producers don't f up Gabby's & Rachel's season after the nonsense they pulled this season. Really looking forward to your review of the season.

A lot of people have been giving Susie hate for going back to him saying things like “We were rooting for you! How disappointing!” and I don’t necessarily disagree with those feelings. I don’t think she deserves hate or bullying at all, but I understand why other women would be disappointed in her ultimately going back to a walking red flag on national television. I think, in general, more people are mad that Clayton still got a happy ending more than they are with Susie wanting to be with him. Clayton saying that it was worth it all to get the woman he wanted is quite a slap in the face to Gabby and Rachel considering what he put them through, and he ONLY is saying that because he got what he wanted in the end… no matter the cost of other people’s hearts. He did not deserve to have a happy ending whatsoever in my opinion, but I will be cheering so loudly for both Gabby and Rachel to find the love they deserve! ❤️

Clayton may the be Bachelor calling the shots, but the women are still human and he shouldn’t have wasted their time/gave them hope again when his feelings about Susie never changed. Just do right by Gabby and Rachel by being honest with them! And honest with himself for that matter too. People who think Clayton's actions are somehow justified bc he was "manipulated by producers" must be a new to the Bachelor franchise. These men that are selected for the Bachelor role are totally capable of thinking for themselves and even going off-script, if need be. Do you know who's a great example of this? Sean mother-effing Lowe 👑 He is living proof that you CAN stand firm in your beliefs, despite what producers are whispering into your ear. This probably explains why he's the *only successful Bachelor* to come out of this show (with his F1). If Clayton is really that naïve and malleable to what producers--or others in general--tell him, he's got a lotttt of maturing to do.

Chris, thank you so much for another season that was worth watching only because there were great recaps like yours. You share the first place in my heart with another, but I promise that if I ever break up with any of you - it will be separately. I know it might be hard to hear, but I truly love both of you. Well, the three of you actually - you share your place in my heart with Whit & Ry. Sorry. ❤️ Hope you're feeling waaaaay better (as queen Gabby would say), and that you use this off season for some much needed rest. I wish you the best of the best ❤️❤️❤️

People should remember how much producers manipulate the leads when criticising Clayton. Some of the stuff people call him is disgusting. But I've never been as excited for a season as I am for the next one!
