Police Detective Han Joo-Wan is happier than ever when away from his father, Police chief Han Ki-Hwan. But despite their strained relationship, Ki-Hwan always calls whenever he needs anything from his son, much to Joo-Won's distress. Although he tries to create distance between them, he can't seem to get far enough away from a father who won't let him go. Who once told the world on national television that his son was an incompetent officer to cover up his own mistakes, and who married Joo-Won's mother for her money, only to have her locked away in a mental institution when he'd taken everything from her, including her son. Eventually, it gets too hard for Joo-Won to maintain a relationship with his father, and he finally walks away.
