iif i remember correctly, the tai chi style of jian is called a "taijijian"

It’s a pretty nice sword. I’ve since sharpened it and it definitely performs better. I didn’t mention it but it has quite a loud tachikaze or sword wind, when swung through the air. Hope you found the video helpful. Thanks for watching

@poppypicker3863 heck yes! Out of my small collection, the Dojo-pro model #11 just sings through the air. Very pleasing tachikaze.

Nice review, D. This was my very first real sword. The ones they produced 15 years ago were way worse (whippy thinner blade with a super dull edge). Always liked the overall look. Which version did you get as far as blade length?

Thanks for the comment. I got the 30 inch. I had to do a little sharpening to get it right but it is one of my favourites in the collection. Thanks again
