I think Kounde can serve well as an emergency CB if need be. Julian Araujo or Hector Fort can be the RB.

I think you are misplacing barca's priorities right now, Bastoni is the least of our needs and why even bring in a left footed CB who will most likely be expensive and give out Faye who is also a solid left footed CB

I will take 50-60 for Christensen given the club financials. You can easily get Nico for that who is more important to us now than Christensen.

Christensen is World class….. why in any Way would you sel him? He is fantastic at cb and fanatasfic as defensive cdm. Plus his attitude is fantastic. He has not complained once.

I said only when the club wants to sell one of the center backs. I agree Chris is world class but he won't start for us over Cubarsi, Araujo and Kounde. With another midfielder coming in he won't start in midfield either. He is going to be benched and it is neither good for him nor for the club. Just my opinion.

If Xavi had stayed Araujo would've left. Xavi had made a list of players who he wanted to be sold and Araujo was 1 of them.

Heck yeah! At least there is someone who acknowledged that Kounde has been impeccable at Right-back. He owned that position in his Euro 2024 match against Austria. He was the most impressive defender for France in that match. (Not that the other defenders were bad or anything). Too bad socially media pulpits never give him enough credit for how well he performance. Sadly enough even Barca fans seem to overlook his contributions in that Right-back position. I believe his overall workrate is a bit overlooked at times. Deschamps is a brilliant coach and if he trusts Kounde as a Right-back then who are we to question Kounde's contributions in that position especially if he keeps playing on top level like he did against Austria? Kounde does not possess those pure offensive attributes like Joao Cancelo but he usually overlaps and man he is so comfortable on the ball. His passes are not world-class but they sure find the target man. And his one-two touches are superb. He can deliver crosses too. (This is the one part that I would to see him do more often). At Barca he overlaps and offload Lamine Yamal. He would then pass the ball to Lamine if he is free or simply play the pass to someone with plenty of space to try and conjure some attacking threat. Kounde should stay at Right-back. It would also be easier that way. I mean Araujo would partner with Christensen.

My opinion is barcelona shouldn't sell faye, rather make him play as a leftback when needed and cb too. Faye is very good carrying the ball forward, even better than cubaris honestly.

casado matches the club perfectly : intermilan 💯 there could be something done therefor bastoni swapdeal with him considering which one is valued more by us. for casado i feel it helps his career in many lovely ways

Barca should keep Faye, he is a tallented CB, Barca should use him as a rotation. Also I'd sell kounde and use this money to bring at least 2 players. One of the players that Barca should go for is Frripong. He is a batter full back than Kounde.

So if bastoni or a player like him is somehow signed, do you think they would accept to sit on the bench and wait till araujo gets there injured???😂😂 Please don’t be absurd, best bet is to use Kounde as a Cb/ Rb according to our need and use Araujo Cubarsi and Faye as the options. We will have 2 experienced cb’s and teo youngsters who will learn as they go and provide cover. Maybe we can keep christensen for his versatility. No way are we signing a Bastoni for our cb position without selling a major one. Some of you transfer suggestion sound straight out of Fifa brother😂😂

All of this will collapse if we do not strengthen the goalkeeping position as the big teams do. They renew this position annually, like Inter with Onana and Sommer. He was the best goalkeeper in Italy and now they want to replace him after one season. Now they want Pinto, a promising goalkeeper in Brazil. Arsenal want a Feyenoord goalkeeper to compete with Raya. Paris bought a goalkeeper from the Russian league to compete with three other goalkeepers. Poor Juve bought De Gregorio, the best goalkeeper in Serie A, for thirty million. Manchester City want a goalkeeper to compete with Ortega.
