Coming 🔜… In my opinion, i think we need a quality pivot. We saw that in the game against PSG 1-4 game where we didnt have a proper pivot and decided to play de jong. De jong is not the guy for the pivot role. I think we lost on guido rodriguez. Not just yet because if we get the deal done with Mikel Merino, a pivot with experience in la liga. We also need a key winger. Nico williams or xavi simons had pace. This was something we had to deal with facing psg. If these deals are confirmed, Can we be contenders for the UCL?

Excited for Barça returning to the 1:1 rule soon but Barça needs to use those funds wisely. Barça has a habit of wanting to sign players that can play multiple positions i.e. Williams, Simmons & Olmo. Instead of a player that specializes in the specific position Barça needs i.e. Diaz. Then Barça is shocked when they don't play as well out of their main position or get injured covering & rotating for the depth they sold. Barça's better off signing Luis Diaz to play solely at LW & Joao Felix can cover, rotate & split mins with not just Diaz at LW but also Fermin as an AMF/SS, Pedri as a CAM & Lewandowski as a F9. Which is why there's no need to loan Simmons or sign Olmo. Same goes for Kimmich, Barça has De Jong & is better off signing a 25yr old Zubimendi instead of a 28yr old Merino, who's more of an 8 that can play in a double pivot. Merino or Kimmich are not sole pivots. Zubimendi is. Despite Zubimendi's €60m buyout clause, at 25 as opposed to 28 or 29. Zubimendi's a long term replacement & most importantly one that can continue to build chemistry with Pedri & Gavi while playing for Barça & Spain for years to come.

Looks like we are not getting Xavi Simons after all but i don't think its over yet this deal with Xavi Simons at all it wil be decided in july, Nico Williams i think we should get we need better left winger then we got right now.

Maybe Barcelona isn't ready for the world. In La Liga you face Atletico who is pretty good and Real who is a machine now, and especially with Mbappe, Endrick and Guler while in CL you face the PL teams who are very strong plus Bayern, Borusia, Inter, etc. Stop dreaming, we are not at their level yet.

Nico williams isnt barca material. We cant use wingers if they cant consistently win 1v1 or score goals. neeko williams is mostly a pass back merchant and he has trouble getting 5 goals a season. get real. We need kvaratskhelia or rafael leao. We should look for a swap deal with ferran torres or raphinha plus cash for one of them

Why, only cause they are fast? Nico is good but not great and Yamal still has to prove himself in big games. And don't get me wrong, doesn't matter how fast is the winger, depends on the team structure and defender, a defender like Kyle Walker will eat them alive. That's exactly why Don Carlo didn't let Vinicius to run against City.

@@notnotnownow9622 I guess yamal didn't prove himself when he literally took on PSG single handedly and if it wasn't for the aurajo red card it was obvious that it was his day. Furthermore flick needs fast and one on one specialist wingers and that is what is nico. Also, even if there is a defender like Walker can he eat both yamal and nico at the same time, because he will be facing those two who will be attacking.

This is what barca is about !!!! Making proactive transfers! Look the way our classico rivals in madrid handle transfer these days... They get 9 right in 10 transfers and at a reasonable price compared to what we have been splashing on players!! Facts. Some of these players they got on the cheap.... and they got alot of youngsters to work with the older heads. They are learning as they go. Gotta commend them.

The man took his own personal sabbatical. It gave him time to think about a lot of things. The man literally wants to coach Barca.... that says a lot. And if things get rough on the pitch, at least you'll have a legit plan B adjustment.

The thing about raphinha I don't understand is that when he was at Leeds he was a very deadly dribble and winger but that disappeared the moment he came to Barcelona, it's either xavi's system didn't suit him or he has lost his touch.

Thank you so much Jaime for these videos it does cheer me up! I do have doubts in Nico Williams, I think he might not be great in our system although he is a very good player and if we spend that money on him and it doesn’t work out it will be disappointing especially with our financial situation. I’ll prefer a Goal scorer and a team player like Ademola Lookman he fits what we need on the left wing especially with the way Cancelo and Balde plays another reason why I’ll go for him is that he can be what Pedro was for us or what Gnabry was for flick when they won the Champions League, we need a Goal scorer and a team player to be an effective unit! Just my opinion!

I happy we are now heading in the right direction but I actually wrote that we needed a quality LW and CDM when the season started and said we will not win anything without these signings. Anyways, if we sign Merino and Diaz, it would have a massive impact. Nico is a good option but I would stick with Diaz.

Flick means business he is here to build a competitive squad unlike Xavi who was building a Spanish national team 2.
