I am more impressed each time I see a Hanse and their boats are super easy to sail. I've started to look at new boats and, the Hanse is now on the short list.

How do you hove-to with a self-tacking jib? And where do you sit at the chart table?

You can lock the jib traveller in the opposite position to hove-to, if you must. Most new boats this size don't even have a chart table. You can stand, straight down from the cockpit, to check o something or you can sit aft of the port settee for serious passage-planning. When comparing other similar-sized boats, do compare their galleys too. Most only have the standing width of the oven and not a cm more. The space throughout the Hanse 315 has been apportioned brilliantly and she almost auto-sails without autohelm. Read the reviews.
