    I get the sense the other musicians are so impressed because, not only does he play so well but all the fills between the main themes are improvised. Guthrie probably plays this slightly differently each night. What a star

    He did play differently every night. When guthrie first showed up, Hans Zimmer did not have a music book for him. When guthrie asked where his book was, zimmer said "I trust you." Everything guthrie played was improvised except the specific melodies for the songs. Interview is somewhere on youtube.

    I would guess most of these musicians are classically trained and can't improvise anything like this. I'm most impressed by his improvisation ability

    I don't think this is on Spotify because they only played this track during their second tour in 2017 which wasn't officially recorded.
