Hans Hartung le geste
Hans Hartung maître de l'abstraction du trait et du geste a mis longtemps à devenir célèbre, c'est un des grands artistes du XX° siècle. Son trait est sûr, il l'expérimente tous les supports avec des outils inhabituels…
Né à Leipzig, vit à Dresde puis en France les années de guerre, il part à la légion étrangère contre le nazisme, il y perd sa jambe droite, sans moyen jamais il n'a lâché ses outils de peintre.
Célèbre à 50 ans il en faut du temps pour monter une telle œuvre graphique. Cet artiste solitaire s'inspire de la nature il faut parfois vivre vieux pour être célèbre décès à 85 ans. Son année 1973 reste la plus foisonnante à 69 ans 142 peintures, 591 œuvres sur papier et multiples estampes… B R A V O !

I personally find his 60´s and 70's output the most amazing and appealing. Fortunately, here in Mexico are two outstanding pictures of the master in the Tamayo Museum permanent collection, but would be lovely to see a one-man show of Hartung someday!

Ive never heard of him but Im really liking his work, so many things I dont know
What is the point in mostly showing gestural details of works and not showing the work itself (I counted 13 details of paintings without seeing the work and around 17 scans of paintings without revealing the work itself). The ego of the film maker is irritatingly present and insists on a particular way of looking at Hartung's works which need to be seen as whole compositions....... very annoying!

Oui c'est le geste de cet artiste que j'ai mis en avant... Hartung je le contemple souvent. Le film amateur est à sa fondation... you counted it's stupid

I want to see Hartung's artwork, not his artwork used in a video. We saw many pieces of his artwork used to decorate a music video. That's not what I came here for...

Why do cameramen have to wander around almost randomly when filming art. People looking at this film want to see the paintings. Individually . A dash around the room with the camera is so amateurish.

yes I am "an amateur" who likes the gesture to create a work... for me Hartung is present in drawings
Hartung ? un des peintres abstraits les plus pertinents du XXe siècle mais qui, à mon sens, reste de toute façon un créateur un peu trop court sur pattes pour n'avoir jamais su maitriser le dessin dans son acte pictural et n'avoir donc jamais dépassé le stade de la "raflure graphique" !

Comme Soulages ,Hartung ado dans les années 68 avec un copain on s est bien amusé montage plâtre reste de peinture tout ce qu on trouvait sous la main il me reste deux ou trois choses qu on avait fait et des souvenirs d engueulades du père de mon pote vu l etat du jardin après nos " créations" sans oublier une engueulade de Hartung lui même à l époque on ne savait pas qui s était on avait touché un mobile comme son nom l'indique pas touché bref bonne époque mais il faut pas aller jusqu'à dire que Soulages Hartung et d autres c est bandant

@@albertlocean243 ce n'est pas bandant, achètes un Hartung et quand en le gardant 30 ans tu peux le vendre ± 200k€ voir plus tu ne diras plus rien …
