Hannover City Germany
Hanover is a city of short distances - which has grown over centuries from the angled old town on the banks of the Leine, between the Aegidientor in the west and the Steintor in the east, to the main train station built in the 19th century. If you leave via Ernst-August-Platz, you are almost in the middle of the city, which offers a new landmark with the new light sculpture on Kröpcke!
Old town and market hall
The shopping streets take you to Hanover's old town with its half-timbered houses around the market square. Cafés, restaurants and small but fine shops can be found in the picturesque streets
The Ballhofplatz, where many festivals are held in summer, is cozy. Next to the market church, the largest of the three old town churches, is the medieval old town hall. Both buildings are considered the southernmost examples of North German brick Gothic. Also eye-catching is the imposing Leibnizhaus, a detailed replica of the Renaissance town house that the philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz lived in for several years.
Opposite the Old Town Hall, the traditional market hall, also known as the belly of Hanover, attracts connoisseurs with its wide range of delicacies.

A bit part of it is that most city centres or old towns aren't made for cars and meant for pedestrians and bikers. Hannover will exclude cars in a bigger city area in the future😊

Ugh I was yelling at the TV 😂 Thank you for showing my home town. Why was I yelling? Well you walked right past the old city wall without realizing it or showing it, and I kept saying (with increasing volume hahaha) “Go left, go left, go left, it’s right there, if you go left!!!” It felt a little like road rage 😉 Thank you for sharing this. Made me nostalgic.

@@user-or6yn8pm3c there are no nce american cities lol. Maybe the older part of Boston is starting to aquire some charm. And German cities arent even the nicest (although Bamberg and a few others are awesome) in Europe.

@@user-or6yn8pm3c of course, was more of a insider for all from Hannover as they're at this bench every day. There are other spots not shown in the video but still no whole streets. But my feeling is, that it's getting worse as more and more people are falling through the "social-net". It does get a wider mesh every year.

Warum immer dieselben Straßen mehrfach? Wo bleibt das Steintor und der Aegi? Die Bewohner dieser Nekropole sind immer noch unauffällig schlecht angezogen.
