Established in 1987, Melbourne International Comedy Festival (#MICF) is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival.
Over the last week of March and into April every year, #MICF transforms Melbourne into the comedy capital of the world, as local and international comedians take to theatres, pubs, clubs and broom cupboards citywide - shining a spotlight on the silly, the serious, the heart-breaking and the hilarious.

For example, if someone says that "every kindergarten teacher has a kind of ‘benign paedophilia,” then I don't see much trouble in it, although I would prefer some other wordings. On top of that, even the worst people have some good talents. For example, Michael Jackson did horrible things with kids, but his music still is unmatched. Beethoven wasn’t a nice person either. You should not disqualify people because they once did something wrong in a field that doesn’t affect their talent. And finally: your comment suggests that morally superior people have a better understanding of comedy as compared with worse-behaving people. That is total nonsense.

I watched the video trying to give it a chance. Her performance is slightly distasteful and almost seems like she is irritated by the audience. I feel like she would get easily offended by just about anything. She is not funny and doesn’t have good spirit. It’s this weird passive aggressive attitude towards the audience making it seem like she’s about to burst into a fit of rage on stage until someone pulls the curtains, the audience will sit there in confusion not knowing whether to stand up and walk out or regrettably wait for her to come back out with excuses, apology’s, and through pity in every direction. I am also convinced that the comments section here is fake and has bots writing all this crap. If this comment is deleted then it only reinforces the idea that this person, these people, the channel owners, or KZread itself know that this person -Hannah Gadsby- is not funny, or they wouldn’t have to try and silence those who believe otherwise. If you like her and think she’s funny then that’s fine too.

I feel he/she/they would get easily offended by a someone different with a voice. He/She/They are not funny and it doesn’t have a good spirit.
