Hanley Fire Station Farewell Video

This is the Hanley Farewell Video by Lauren Hatchard that is going into the time capsule at Hanley Fire Station and also into the archives at the City Central Library in Hanley.
The film entitled 'We Were Here' was screened in Manchester as part of the Exposures Film Festival on 17 November. It did very well and was nominated for best cinema photographic.

    I served here back in the 1990’s with a lot of the faces in the film. Fire and Rescue was a different beast back then. Fantastic cinematography that really captures the ambiance of the place.

    wow great vid. very eerie. seems that the crew have got attached to the concrete coffin! very good film, and lets hope the new station lasts as long as the old one!
