I was trying to pinpoint what it is I like about old country and I think that’s it, it’s simple. I hate the new stuff.

I'm from Brazil 🇧🇷 and I love Hank 3's music, it made me go researching southern culture. It's an interesting region of the US, great music and history. In the mainstream media they don't pay much attention to the South, and when they do, it's in a negative way.

Me too. I’m from south Quebec Canada. In the 1700s a bunch of French Canadian from Quebec relocated to Louisiana n it’s so similar , especially here in south Quebec

Nice banjo accompaniment. It really plays nicely off Hank’s voice and the melody.

After "The Rebel Within" this is easily my favorite song of Hank III.

hes got more grandpa than daddy ...he looks and sounds just like him...The music gods were there the day this kid was born thats for damn sure....Hank sr was always comming out my dads speakers from the sixth beer forward for years and this kid almost makes me cry cos he has that same pain.

Omly the ones who have three shades of black in soul can understand this song burns deep in the soul when ya have nothing to libe fer or no. Where to go but back to all ya kno a lone wolf style of life lomers rock yall

I am Navajo of The Navajo Nation of the American Southwest. Our local radio station AM 660 KTNN still does play Hank Williams songs, along with Waylon, Willie, Haggard, Jones, Coe, and many ol' great Country artists on Fridays or whenever people request a song. KTNN Online is where to listen and all. 💯🙏🏼 I was surprised to hear Hank 3 on the radio on AM 880 in Farmington, NM. Navajo Radio station and they played, "Low Down," and "Cecil Brown."
