Chris this podcast is/was one of the best that I've ever had the opportunity to watch. I have the greatest respect for you and Hank. Two people whom I've actually spent time with and looked up to. One for wisdom for fishing and the other for guidance in the word of God. I thank God for me finding this podcast this morning. God bless y'all.

I don't like alcohol myself.. but.. (and I know he wasn't saying this so it's just a side note about our common christian culture and not about Hank)...but boycotting a beer company and all alcohol together is to pretend that Jesus's first miracle never happened. To pretend that Jesus never drank the wine with his meals. You're putting yourself under laws that God never put you under and that's part of a form of legalism that has got the church shunning things we were never meant to shun. Paul and 2nd Peter both said don't be drunken fools and keep a clear mind, which means exactly what it says lol. Having a beer or glass of wine has never been a sin against God...but a sin against our self-righteous brethren. Love you Hank!

I think the issue is drunkenness. Yes a believer can partake in drinking alcohol, but cannot partake in drunkenness.Hank had an alcoholic Dad. He saw first hand how it affects everyone he loved. He saw the difference in his Dad when he came to Christ. His stand is right along with the apostle Paul’s who said if your conscience says it’s sin then don’t do it. Boycotting the beer company was his way of obeying his Spirit led conscience.
