This band is awesome. They are the epitome of the entire genre. Brings back memories - nicest ones.
Video is the final scene of 'Jojo the Rabbit' while playing David Bowie's 'heroes' german version. A really touchy moment in the movie.

This tune is so good, it's a mix between Joy Division and Interpol. I was listening to the Hangwire album, and it's one of the best records I've ever heard from these new post-punk revival bands. I hope they get the recognition that these guys deserve. Latin America is truly giving us gems. 🖤🔥

Yeah these guys have captured that sound perfectly, only discovered this tune last night and already on 15 plus listens, also something about this video too. Although pretty much only a loop, it's very captivating along with this track.

Camouflage deserves to be mentioned
A band from Uruguay captured my heart today. The album begins with the song "this fun machine" and takes me back to a time when Joy Division thrilled the music world with the perfect sound reproduction of the individual musicians and an equally perfect voice for this song. ian curtis couldn't have performed the song better. One could think that the album ties in with the times of bygone days and, from one song to the next, finds its deserved place in the present. I hope at this point that this album will be available on vinyl and that the band "hangwire" will find its way to Germany very soon..!! The first Vinyl..is mine..!! WolfensteinArt Fotografie

I stumbled upon 'Children of the Night - Hangwire' and clicked instantly. These guys not only create amazing shoegaze/The Cure-style music, but they also craft perfect post-punk songs as catchy as 'Stockholm Syndrome' but with their own twist. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for every release from this band moving forward. Thanks for bringing back this classic post-punk sound reminiscent of its origins.

This song pops up on my KZread and I'm like I don't remember this band or song from the 80's. The JoJo Rabbit video had me confused. Is this a remix? Then I read the description and the comments. It's a modern progressive post-punk song from last year by a band from Uruguay? No freakin' way! Mind blown! Diving eagerly headfirst into that rabbit hole!

@@VaduzVaduz tocan bastante en el Bar Andrómeda, en Durazno y Convención. Tocaron el sábado y dentro de dos semanas tocan de nuevo ahí. El 19/04 si no me falla la memoria.
The defining moment from JoJo Rabbit. I lovelovelove the symbolics from this clip. The war is over. Elsa (the Jewish girl) slaps Johannes (Jojo), because she's Jewish and Johannes was(!) from the Nazi Hitler Youth. Johannes doesn't resist, he knows and admits he was wrong ... he has learned. They slowly start to dance . The dance of youthful innocence. They both dance. They acknowledge each other and understand the circumstances in witch they were "convicted" to end up with each other. They were children! How were they supposed to know and Understand? They dance ... Everything is all right, and from now on they can get along with each other without having to worry about the circumstances. They always knew they liked each other !! ... Lineage is irrelevant! To me, this is very touching! I'm Dutch, and I have many German friends. Sometimes one can still feel the tension. The past still lives inside of us all, but we have learned. We can dance together !!! 💃🕺😁
