Thank you for showing those beautiful shots of Santa Ana. I’m 8 days away from visiting again and looking forward to it 🎉🎉 I hope you guys didn’t get sick (again, Robert and hope Natalie stayed fine) from eating and drinking stuff from street vendors. I got sick all the time while I lived there and later I found out it was because of the lack of hygiene from food vendors and water contamination. I’ve been to Europe and didn’t get sick there.

Just got sick once on that trip from Panda Express haha. Yes and another thing with streets vendors is often the meat isn't refrigerated so another way to get sick, and water is big too. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip to El Salvador, cheers

😂😂 the coleslaw they serve at most places is called “curtido” is basically a mix of pickled green cabbage, carrots, red and white onions and hot peppers to give it some spice lol I wish I had chance to actually show you guys around and explain things properly to you lol 😂 as a Canadian salvadoreña it would be a nice experience to share my culture and explain it properly lol

1:15 strawberries, pears, apples, etc are imported from the US as they don't grow in the tropics. You should see lower prices on citric fruits

17:00 in Latin America downtowns were created during 1930 to 1970, before there were wars everywhere across all countries, after 1990 new neighborhoods emerged around downtowns, but downtons were left destroyed by war without money to be demolished and reconstructed, that's why that is so common in central and south America

Great videos guys! I've been watching your videos about El Salvador. I was born in Santa Ana. I'm an American citizen now and the last time I was in El Salvador was 1994. Robert, I'm impressed with the Spanish you learned from Duolingo. I've been learning French on Duolingo. Natalie's Spanish is not bad either. I hope my French is as good as your Spanish. I'm taking my wife and kids to El Salvador this summer. Fisrt time to El Salvador for my kids. Keep making these great videos!

El centro historico used to be like that full of vendors and before you had to be extremely on guard and carefully going through those places. Some places you are visiting are not very touristic now, but I'm sure they will improve those parks. Also the green thing on the ice is call alguashte. It is made from pumpkin seed and people eats it with sour things such as mango verde, etc.

the prices are always high in that supermarket ... I suppose there because it is a more exclusive area for imported products In the morning at the market you can get fruits, vegetables and everything else much cheaper Santa ana It is a very chaotic and hot city Hahah anyway good luck on the trip

You are drinking ensalada or on salad. Fruit salad juice. Chopped pineapple, apples, marañon, mangos in the same fruit juices.

Bro, they just needed some time to get used to all the third world parasites we have down here. 😂....It's like those street dogs here....they can survive on pure garbage, but if you gave your own dog (which you take care of ) any of what the street mutts eat it will for sure get sick. And the side walks here are awful, I've hurt myself so many times cause of them. Regarless of all that, I would rather live here in El Salvador than that woke hell they call Canada.
